My first landing page and problem with theme

Hi, sorry for my english, I;m from Poland, I've bought this theme https:/ /themeforest.net/item/xlander-startup-landing-page-bootstrap-wp-theme/10254806 (I made space between slashes because I don't know whether I can post a link here) and I have problems with plugin WP Bakery Visual Composer. This plugin was with theme but it doesn't work properly. Is it possible that I have to buy this plugin? Because WP requires update but I can't do this update.

I'm not too savvy with that specific theme or plugin. But if you paid for the theme then the plugin should automatically come with the services you purchased according to theme forest info. That is if the theme actually calls for that plugin.

If you really paid for it then get ahold of theme forest support. They do answer swiftly and I'm sure this same question has been asked on their support forums.

Otherwise what kind of error are you getting?

A Big NO, It's a package that the theme provider give it to you. So Contact Theme Forest or Your Theme Developer regarding your issue. They will fix it without charging you anything. But make sure your support is not Off or you have to pay a little to them again.

I found WPBakery 5.0 (I thing) was having some bugs and not loading properly. solver it updating everything to the latest version

Probably old version of WPBakery or Wordpress is the problem.

I usually hire an expert for these type of things that are way above my field of expertise
