My First Journey in BlackHatWorld!

    Introduction

    So, hi to everyone, I'm Daniel. I'm a long time reader of this forum, I love this place. I'm turning 20 years on Tuesday, so I decided now is the right time to do something useful for my life. I live in Bulgaria and I'm a full time student and a full time content writer for some Bulgarian websites. Something is not going alright with me lately, because my productivity is terrible. I got some exams ahead and I need to be productive as hell to pass the year and not lose my job. Mainly in this thread I will discuss my lifestyle changes, but I have a few mini projects in mind too. It will be something really challenging, because of the university and my messed sleep schedula, eating habits and so on, but I have to do this now. I will try to update the thread a few times weekly with my progress and some tips and tricks I found while on my journey.

    Lifestyle Goals:

    1. Getting to bed at 12PM and getting up at 8 or 9 AM every morning. (This is the only way to be productive. For a reference, now I'm falling asleep at 2-3-4 AM and getting up at 1-2 PM which is nothing but pulling me back).
    2. Gradually change my eating habits so I can get back to a good weight and to higher energy levels like before.
    3. Combining university and work with more physical activity which will be very nice for me.
    4. Getting better with English! I was a decent speaker and writer before, but stopped regularly using English and things went back. I will try to get back in shape, so I can think about freelancing articles in English and creating some projects for the English speakers out there.

    Internet Marketing Goals:

    1. Get on track with all my freelance projects before it is too late.
    2. Starting a few social profiles and developing them well. They can be very useful to get some visitors to the articles I'm writing. I can use the in the future to bring some traffic to my own blog or something.
    3. Right now I want to start a blog about financial freedom and success oriented to the market in Bulgaria. People right here are terrified by the wages, low standart, all the corruption and problems. I think I can help them get a solution by learning more about investments, IM and freelancing for a living.
    4. I'm thinking about opening a micro-business in my hometown. I have a nice place which is ideal for something like a fast food or something, but I don't want to sell junk food. I have a few healthier alternatives for popular fast foods around here. It is possible to do something.

    I have something in mind for all the points in my plan, but I will be more descriptive in my updates for you guys. I'm not putting financial goals for now, because I'm feeling financially sable for now, but while advancing with my plan I will surely try to get a higher monthly income and develop a few passive money streams. I am open to answer you question, getting and giving advice and just about everything, because I think both freelancers and IMers need to socialize a bit more than we usually do.

    Interesting. Have you checked around town to see what is doing well in your town? Would a small food shop be profitable? I assume you have already considered franchising.

    My calculations show that there is a likely chance I will succeed (I have some experience with accounting, marketing and economics as a whole). It will be not a franchise, because my town is kind of a small and I can't profit from it (Bulgarian franchises don't have the best conditions, so I will stay away from them for now). Still I found a small, but very cheap property which I can use. The best about it is not the price, thought. The stream of people walking by it is really decent.

    Congratulations for you appreciation! The forum is really a useful place. I have a ton of bookmarks from here waiting me to have more free time.

    Thank you for cheering me up, guys. It means a lot. I decided to give you a really quick update, a lot of issues around me lately, but I have good feelings about how things will work out.

    What I did since the start of my journey?

    Didn't have the time to work a lot, because of the above mentioned issues. Still, I made an analyze of my eating habits and a few facts popped in my head:

    1. I clearly don't eat enough fruits and vegetables that are good for me. I will start adding on a daily basis more tomatoes and cucumbers, brocolli and onions. Because of my weight I should avoid fruits with a lot of sugar. Still I can eat grapefruits and lemons, some strawberries and watermelons.

    2. What about proteins? Well, proteins are part of every meal I have, but there are some problems, certainly. Often, I get a good dose of protein, but combined with a lot of simple carbs. That is bad, simple carbohydrates are everything but good for me. Should eat less carbs.

    3. I don't have a lot of time to cook myself, so I buy ready-made food. I really don't know how they process the food, so for sure there are a lot of sauces and things that are not eligible for my body. I will have to cook more often if I want to be fit and healthy.

    How my journey will continue?

    After I few hours I will travel to my hometown to stay till the end of the week. I will try to do as much work as possible there. I have a quite room just for myself, my good old bed and nothing really important to do. This is the time to start getting earier. I should study for my exam for sure! So that's it for now, can't get into a lot of details, but it is still better than nothing. I will make a promise to myself that I will not abandon this journey untill I see my future and improved self.

    Those sure are a lot of goals (that's not a bad thing, especially the health goals).

    You say you stopped using English regularly but having read your post it sounds like it's still at an excellent standard.

    Hey, thank you. I decided to add some information to the post above to register my progress. Yes my goals are more than enough for the moment. I belive we should be always looking ahead of us, trying to visualize the future and the change we want to see. That's why I wanted to describe more detailed how I want to see myself in the future days. Once I get on track with my freelance stuff I will start putting deadlines on the things I want to do.

    DragonNight, yes It is not that bad, but for sure I want to improve, because It is not enough for me. If I want to be a Internet Marketer, my level should be higher, I think.

    Hello, guys! It's a time for some updates around here.

    Freelancing update! I started to get in the working mood better and better with every day. I think my problem is overworking. I'm trying to not rush myself too hard. The results are coming slower than expected, but everything will work out if I'm determined to succeed. I found a chillout EDM community where the music is helping me concentrate better. Also I will be using the pomodoro time managing technique more often. I do 45 minute pomodoros with a 10 minute between them. After 4 pomodoros I take an hour out of the laptop.

    Self-improving update!

    Like I said, I don't want to freelance my whole life, not just that. I want to have my own projects, too. My desire is to take a good position in different social networks. I browsed to my facebook account and I saw an old and rusty facebook pace with a few hundred likes. I will throw a few updates to see if I can use it or I will start a new one. The other thing I've done on this page is creating a Yahoo Answers account (not a social network, but a good way to practice my english, gain some knowledge and drive some traffic and link authority to my futures projects). Tonight I will search for a good Internet Marketing podcast which I can listen while exercising or when I'm out. Again, this will help both my IM ambitions and my level of using english as a second language.

    For the health and lifestyle changes I want, things are getting slower than I thought - my habits are too damn strong :D. Still, I manage to do something. I get to sleep better. At the moment I am trying to go to bed before 1AM and taking atleast 7-8 hours of sleep. I tend to get earlier and earlier. Soon I will complete the goal of sleeping like I should and getting earlier.

    What should you expect of me in the next a few days:
    - I will post a short article on how to sleep better, wake up earlier and feel more energized by it.
    - I will try to make some more posts around BHW, so I can post some links to videos and articles I find motivation, inspirational and helpful.
    - I will manage to get some more knowledge of effectively using FB Pages and Yahoo Answers and If I find anything cool, I will post it.
