I went to a wonderful interview that went very well with an enjoyable company.

I received an assignment, which is to create a plan for SEO optimization of a website that sells hardware. If the plan is to their liking, I will probably get the job. (Got 2 days to get it done)

I call upon the wisdom of Blackhat World to help me with ideas so I can land this job.

At the moment I'm thinking only about Guest posts and relevant media outreach.

I'm assuming that they don't want Blackhat SEO but I will still include some ideas with a warning sign, but regarding WhiteHat I don't really know what does work those days and what is efficient.

Any ideas are much appreciated so I can create a well-structured plan.

Don't forget also the On-page seo factors.

Thats why they keep on papers.

Also creating a blog and relations with other related sites would be good

I'm no SEO expert or guru but what I typically do when asked about SEO plans, I present it as a 3 step process. 1) SEO audit the website to call out current keywords found. 2) On site SEO. Find new keywords to target and fix the site so it's ready to rank. 3) Search engine ranking. Report on rankings and build rankings.

I give clients the choice of the 3 and you can't do step 2 without step 1 nor step 3 without step 2. I also tell them this is done over the course of a few months and step 3 is a 3 month minimum to see typical results.

Obviously there is much more detail for each step and you probably don't need to get into too much detail about each. I doubt the client cares about guest posting and PBN.

Any other pieces of advice guys?

Dude it doesn't matter how well your plan is, unless you give them one hell of a presentation.
So be prepared, plan every word you will say, make a "wow" kinda presentation and you will land the job. Confidence is the key :p

Well, I kinda need to email them the plan and if they like it they will call me so I just need to write as many actions I would do to the website as I can.

Try to use as many as possible 'hard words' from this niche. In this way you can amaze your future boss.
