Hello, everyone. So I'm pretty new to BHW; joined about a month ago and I've been lurking about since but I've read enough threads to get me motivated to start my first Internet Marketing Journey. At first I was thinking I ought to go through most of the threads on here before embarking on my journey, but then I figured I should just dive in head on, if I kept waiting till I knew it all, I wouldn't even start at all.

So, for my first journey, I figured I'd start small. I intend on creating a landing page that would redirect visitors to another site(I already have a couple of ideas in mind but I'm open to suggestions). I already purchased a ".com" domain and hosting from namecheap, which was relatively cheap by the way. As for the landing page, my very close friend whom is quite adept with Java Script is already working on it but I was thinking of using WordPress(seems it could be easier) that way.

Once the landing page is all set, the next thing is to drive traffic to the landing page. My target social media platforms are; Reddit, Facebook and Twitter. I've been reading up on a couple of threads on how to drive traffic but I'm to ideas on this too.

Next is signing up for an Ad Network. To be honest, I haven't figured this one out. I see a lot of words like CPA, CPI, CPE, OGAds thrown around but I'll figure this out when I reach that bridge.

As for the money I intend to make off this, for starters I'm not aiming that high, but from what I've read so far, making $50 per day seems feasible. That should be enough to cover the cost of hosting and my ISP subscription at the end of every month, and also save up for a couple of other things. If this pans out, I 'd scale it up to a full website for a particular niche.

I'd be making updates to this thread as I'm making progress. I hope to see this through to the end you. Thank you for reading till the end and all your contributions are welcome.

Seems very very draft idea. Have a clear plan and be ready to adjust it. Starting out too vague is not a good start. At least in my experience.
