congrats man, i remember making my first $0.25 on adsense for one of my micro niche sites lol i was so happy.

just remember nows the turning point, you'll get super motivated to scale that or you'll be depressed that u only made so little for so much work. if you don't quit now u'll join the riches club soon enough

This is awesome. I was in the same place as you a year ago and now I make more than my husband with his "real job." You are on the right track. Everyone who has made anything in IM has had their first click, including everyone on this thread. They were just as excited as you so don't let them discourage you.

Thats cool. My first wp site only has only been up a couple of weeks. 1 adsense click so far but it was for $3.40. Can't wait to see if I can really ramp up the traffic.

Yup... I have Affiliate Stuff cloaked and Amazon on mine along with adsense, just in case. All this reading I have done has taught me that.

This is my learning site. I have 2 other domains waiting in the background to get launched.

anyway, congrats on your first earnings.
adsense is a 'good way' fo making money..
but until now, i haven't approved by adsense..
it's a horrible things..

Where'd you get that info? From some old fart? lol. Its not true. I have blogger blogs with my adsense on it and it has very low traffic not going 50 in each and yet on my 20 blogs I make $5 a day which is convenient enough for free content and blogs.

I only counted mine as earnings when I finally hit the $100 cash out in Adsense. But nice job bro.

Why would you say that? I can easily get 1 click per 8 visitors. It's not uncommon to see a 60% ctr on some of my blogs and I have never had a problem with G. It depends on your traffic authenticity. You can have a 100% CTR as long as the traffic is legitimate. And now watch how many people respond and say "I got banned for no reason". There is always a reason.

See, I'm glad I put it up now cos from what people are saying I am a 'late bloomer' and I want to better ascertain what has caused this.

I have been at it for 6 months now since the beginning of the year. I'm definitely making progress but from what people are saying alot slower than the norm.

I was over at warriorforum for the 1st 3 months chasing red herrings so maybe you could say I've only REALLY been doing IM for 3 months as this forum is where I really started to learn how to manipulate the serps (then again others say they made money way before this time).

I have gradually been weeding out one thing after another...

I have been doing just what ppl say on here (though obv. not everything since I haven't made money yet)- AMR, xrumer, web2.0, SB, yet my best result so far is position 11 for a 1k exact and reading from others this is an insignificant feat.

So perhaps people might offer other thoughts on what may be the issue.

I have been coming to think the main thing might be lack of consistency in linkbuilding but part of that issue is because I didn't know where to get links from on a consistent basis cos with things like web2.0s and AMR those links have very quick diminishing returns and are pretty much one shot deals right?

I got xrumer blasts however indexing was a problem with those which is what has been my latest point of focus...in the past week I have setup 10 shwps, and 2 web 2 instances of backlink energizer. Results seems pretty promising so I'm currently thinking that will cover that.

So when people say 'keep building links' what is your main workhorse to do that given the above that many things are only one shot deals? I'm moving back to scrapebox now cos looking back it seems to be the one that is so versatile that you can keep building links indefinitely.

The other thing that springs to mind is having picked a competitive niche but even in this case people say they can get results relatively smoothly with the advice on these forums. In terms of bad keyword selection I outsourced that to someone on the warriorforum on recommendation from -what I took to be- non biased others deliberately at the time so I could be relatively confident that area would be handled.

So I don't have any ego about it I just wanna learn the trade so there is the bones of it. Maybe kind others more successful than myself might help try to ascertain what may be the issue/s.

This is definitely my 'calling' so I am gonna stick at it till I am successful so it's only a matter of time.

At least now he has made something and we all know that motivation we got from the first click. Regardless if it takes another month to get another click... keep at it.
