My first day on Reddit

270 karma for FIRST 24 hours is more than a solid result!
Reddit is still one of the best in terms of traffic, and the thing is, not that many people use Reddit for this.
At the same time, I understand why, cause it's a totally different game than any other similar site.
People get on Reddit, try and leave because it's the first time, we don't know what and how to do it in the right way and then come here and say "Reddit is s**t"...
People there recognize "spam" and you can get shadowbanned pretty damn fast.
BUT... Once you get in there, it's ridiculously good!

Rather than directly providing you subreddits here are some tips you can follow to findSure, send me them by PM
1) Go to reddit and search all your niche terms to find the subreddits
2) Check the popular member profiles in your niche subreddits so that you will find many other subreddits they joined in their activity
3) Go to google and search site:reddit.com "your search term/niche" so that you will find the subreddits as well as posts created by others which having good engagement. You can use this posts to share your knowledge as well as increase Karma.
4) Search in BHW for "reddit" and you will find various thread from "how to promote on reddit" to "how you can monetize it".
When you do it yourself you will find other different ways too.

It's not easy to work with reddit but once u get u can get a decent amount of traffic.

If you have expertise in photography, create a blog about best / top 10 / (budget, professional, travel, etc.) photo cameras (and photo gear) comparisons for different topics, pack it with amazon affiliate (BUY NOW) links and google adsense and keep doing what you're already doing, while sending people to your blog at some point. Reddit is odd. On the one hand you have super helpful, supportive subreddits which are a great place to get info on anything from snowboarding to graphics cards. On the other hand, there is a distinct 'culture' to it that sometimes seems like one big joke you have to be in on. It's also filled with teenagers and trolls that can absolutely ruin a subreddit once it gets popular enough.

I'm not an expert on Reddit, but karma doesn't matter much.
I think what's more important is to be natural and definitely don't look spammy!
That's good advice for any type of posting online.
OP: I'd keep at it, not worry about how much karma you get each day, and keep sharing good photos!!

Hi guys, I finally tried Reddit ( I'm getting older, and trying new things is not getting easy at all
I'm also a photographer so I created my profile posting some of my latest photoshoots. I'm trying some groups related to my camera ( sony alpha a7iii ) and some portrait groups
In the first 24hs, I get a karma of 270... but I really do not know if that amount for posting just 4 or 5 pictures it's good, excellent, regular, or poor
What's your experience?

Is easy to get upvotes if your taken photo is nice etc , likewise you post on Instagram also will surely can get Likes fast.
