So after reading as much as I could here and taking advantage of the wonderful resource that BHW is I have started my first crack at IM. I am doing video marketing with CPA offers (not a new idea, but it seemed like a good place to start).

My plan is to create a youtube channel in a niche with a good CPA offer and upload 5 videos a day with a link in the description to a free website that then redirects to the offer I am promoting. To start I am going to do all this manually, but I hope with success to invest in youtube advertiser to automate this process and to promote.

Feel Free to provide any comments, constructive criticism etc. I want to learn as much as possible from this.

Progress:
Created 1 youtube channel uploaded 8 videos with watermarks and links to CPA offers. Did some posting on related facebook walls with a garbage profile i had leftover to get the ball rolling.

Great stuff .. Its great that you are actually taking action! I wish you the best of luck with your journey, iv subscribed and will check in often :)

So I kinda slacked off (give me a break its the weekend) and only uploaded 3 more videos. Anyway it seems I might be using an old overrun niche cause my clicks have tanked and i have yet to get any conversions.

Stats:
Total Videos: 11
Clicks: 3
Conversions: 0

I have a question for those who are more experienced, should i ditch the redirect from the free blog and direct link? I am getting the feeling that could be more successful.

covertkemist, congrats with the journal and taking action!

One thing to remember with the Youtube and video marketing is that you need to post a lot of videos + keyword research. It's a number game. Just post as much videos as you can a day and don't look back.

It'll take time, but at the end it will pay off.

For real results, I'd suggest you to post 20-30 vids a day minimum. I seen someone is posting like 50-100 vids a day and earning 200$-300$/day.

11 videos is way to low to see some results.

Few tips:

1. Don't put your all videos on one channel. If your three videos will get flaged, your whole account will be banned. 3-5 vids per channel recommended.

2. For better visibilty of your videos encourage viewers to rate/post comment. Trust me, they are like a monkey, what you will tell them to do - they will do.

3. For even better visibility copy your niches succesfull video (which has lots of views) title and tags. Because after they watch that video, your video will appear as the recommended video on the end.

4. Build some backlinks to your video, will help to rank on google (extra traffic).

5. Select the best thumbnail as you can (hot girls and action thumbnails gets highest click through rate)

Good luck buddy!

Good luck mate ;) Just one thing, don't just upload videos, monetize it too..

Is it ok to use the same videos when i start new channels (should i change the water mark or slightly change the video)?

I will encourage some viewer interaction and start some manual backlinking and will update later tonight.

so for today i created another yt channel and uploaded 5 videos to it (i know 20 is ideal but im doing this by hand on a crappy college internet connection). I have also used annotations to increase viewer interaction (commenting and likes) and have started to see some results.

i am wondering if my offer is to lengthy and i might switch for a simpler one to see if that helps.

secondly my free blog with the redirect shows 16 hits but the CPA report only 12 any ideas why?

This is an interesting post, ill be following you, im looking to start off with my first offer soon too!

uploaded 5 more videos today. I am also in the process of setting up Viewet to increase video views. Also i really need some software to automate this cause its a real pain doing everything manually. Anyone have recommendations (I was thinking youtube advetiser or youtubeme). I switched to a simpler email submit offer but still no conversions any tips on that front?

Just curious, are your videos image slideshows with good transition effects and music, then for each video you just switch up the order and music?

No i have actual videos (recorded with a screen recorder or downloaded from youtube). In terms of uniqueness i just change the opening title page and the filename.

you can try adding more keywords so the videos get better position in YT SERPS. you can add many keywords in the description, write something like "related search tags" and add the list of keywords.

How much videos do you have now? Just keep on uploading them and monetizing them.. And that u did, that you have only 5 vid's per acc, that is good thing.. I do that too..

I will be watching your progress too. I want to see you succeed.
