My first blog

Hello all,

I'm sorry if threads like this bother people, but, I need help creating my auto blog. I am gonna purchase my domain soon, and set up wordpress. It is going to be about Gaming, such as new and game reviews. I've read tutorials but I am very confused. I don't know what a lot of terms are- especially "backling". Something I would need to know are what plugs I need, where do I get articles from, and any steps that could lead me in the right direction.

Ok, I am currently installing all plugins and such. I am using a nulled version on WPR, is that okay?

Auto blogging isnt a great thing in terms of seo for you domain.

Its scraped content that is repeated all over the net.

Why not add some original yourseelf.

First of all I would say you're doing great just to get where you're at now!

Second if you're new to wordpress I would recommend you get a handle on working with wordpress. Sounds like you know the basics.....and that's good. Just make sure you're comfortable.

In the comment I hightlighted above, he mentions writing some articles yourself. I think that's a great idea. If its a new blog, write 10 articles on some aspect of gaming you're familiar with.....then take those articles and spin them with something like "The Best Spinner", you can easily get 10 articles out of each original, anyway, you can post some of them to your blog but.......

I would take the spun articles and set up a blogger blog, squidoo page, maybe a wordpress.com blog.....and other 2.0 sites. Post your articles there with links that use your keywords as anchor text and linked back to your new auto blog.

After you get some articles up, set up your autoposting.....sounds like you might have wprobot. A good plugin, but be careful of any so called nulled wprobot plugins.

Don't autopost a punch of pages to start.....in fact start off with one post every other day or so....do that for a week maybe 2, then you can up the frequency.

To be honest, if I'm going to set up an autopost blog, I'll set the blog up with some articles, do some backlinking and then might let it sit for a month to 3 months.....then I slowly will start autoposting.

Just my twist on it Everybody does things a little different.

The main issue for you is that you're doing something.....and that counts for a lot. Don't worry about making your first autoblog perfect. Don't worry if it fails fast.

The nice thing about failing fast is that you get all that failing out of your system and you'll be cranking out winners before you know it.

Thanks you for the replies. In regards to spinning the article to unique content, I was wondering if there are any plugins that automatically do that? So the second I post they are re-spun?

Also, what are some method to get some backlinks for my blog?

PS: Also, the Nulled WPRobot that I have is a clean version, and works great. Should I use that or WP-o-Matic?

You have to be real inovative to be successful with your blog because what theres more out there is gaming blogs and stuff....

Not trying to be a xxxx here but seriously search this forum for autoblog. You will get many threads... Earnest Hemingway, Shylesson and other such great members' step by step method are just awesome and clear enough to get anyone started. Especially there was a thread even with video tutorials and also the plugins needed to start with. Now, what more do you think you could be fed with?

I used them and they worked great. But I need help with the finer details. Such as Platinum SEO, what does it do and what can I do with it?

I remember seeing a few really nice looking gamer related themes at newwpthemes you might want to take a look at that if you haven't already decided on appearance. Also, for really good info on autoblogging, check out autoblogblueprint which is a membership site but is pretty inexpensive and very informative.
