My first bad experience with a buyer.

So I was selling a broken 3.41 backwards compatible PS3 on ebay as "Broken or for parts" and I said the video output was messed up and all of the other parts were working. Someone won the bid at $49. I ship it out and she gets it and says to me in a message

HI THANKS FOR THE FAST SHIPMENT WHEN I RECEIVED THE ITEM, THE PS3 WAS OPEN THE HARD DRIVE LID WAS OFF, IT WAS BASICALLY FALLING APART THE HARD DRIVE WAS SHAKING, I AM REALLY NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS I COULD GET A BETTER DEAL OFF CRAIGSLIST, THAT WAS TOO MUCH FOR WHAT YOU SENT ME PLEASE RESPOND ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED, IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO RESPOND EBAY WOULD GET INVOLVED.

#1 the removable hard drive lid could have came off in shipping and it can easily go back on within 1 second.
#2 I don't know what she means by the hard drive shaking because it ran last time I used it.
#3 she says she could have gotten a better deal on craigslist while most broken ps3s on ebay sell for almost twice as much as she got it for.

So she is returning it back for a refund, and I would hate for her to leave bad feedback because I don't feel as I am at fault.

But I will see what happens.

Take it easy she is probably just 14.

I hate the new ebay policy where sellers can't leave negative feedback on buyers. Definitely changes the playing field. I lost big time money on ipad cover that was forwarded to Dubai because of shipping fault. The guy played no games and immediately slapped me with a negative feedback. I almost had to beg to get him to retract it and send him another one. My activity on ebay has definitely taken a downturn...

If you kow the addres. Why don't you pay a visit.

It's unfortunate! Did you post pictures of the PS3 on your listing showing all the damages? And also did you write on your posting that this item is being sold as is, all sales are final?
I know you don't have a chance to keep the money once she get eBay or Paypal involve. They are there for the buyers. I remember I had to fought with them really hard to get my money back on a $200 item. But in the end, buyer didn't send the item back to me, and Paypal took the money out from my account.

ebay is hard these days I sold a laptop that was painted purple. Clearly stated in listing but of course person suprised. I told them I would not refund because they didn't like the color. They left negative feedback but I'm at like 98% or something. It's stupid, but after 12 months your good. Peace.
