My First Amazon Site - $20/day

No affiliation with it, but I use longtailpro. I still don't blindly use their number system though, I still look at the top 10 sites individually.

No excuse, but the holidays has been keeping me really busy recently. I am now back to work.
Update
Google dance is still ongoing, and I currently have 2 keywords around 100th-ish. I also made my first sale, of $1.60, but it wasn't actually for a product I am promoting. Go figure.
I have just finished my fourth article but I'm struggling to make it longer without making it painful to read. I think i'll stick with quality and to the point, rather than trying to reach a certain word number and making it less fluid.
Plan
- Create social media accounts (I know I was supposed to do this a while back, but yeah... holidays).
- Finish another 5 articles before Sunday. I am seeing the new Star Wars movie tomorrow, so that will cut into my time... but I believe it's worth it.

Good Luck for your journey ! Keeping it simple is good way to start. A friend here told me that it is always good to use diverse / spread your efforts in order to have multiple streams of income. Reaching your goal that way might help you in long run.

Been really busy with another venture that has given me some really good money - therefore this site got put on hold. However, I'm almost done finishing off another 8 articles so that should get me back on track! Serps for current articles are still bouncing from 50-150ish but the site is literally a month old now so I'm not concerned.

A couple more keywords have now popped up on serps - again in the 150ish area. I won't bother with off-site SEO until I have a good amount of content, but do people generally think that PBN is the only way to go these days? Or can you still rank well without using one?

I'm finding it difficult to produce more content for my first site, so I'm going to stop for a while and let the articles sit. However, I was doing keyword research a couple of days ago on things that I was actually interested in and found a giant goldmine of keywords for one of my main hobbies! The best thing about it is that it's in a very profitable niche, there are endless keywords associated with it and it's something I am actually knowledgeable about. I'm quite ill at the moment but I couldn't not take action, so I started another site.
What I did for my second site, so far:
- Purchased brandable domain as I will be making this an authority site
- Installed wordpress, configured it with categories, etc, etc
- Made a logo
- Used ifttt.com to link a facebook page, instagram account, pinterest account and twitter account to my wordpress site. (If I post on Instagram it will auto post to facebook, twitter and pinterest and if I post a new article on my wordpress site it'll auto-post on twitter and facebook).
No content has been written yet, but because I'm so ill at the moment it's quite nauseating just being at the PC. I might have to wait a couple of days before writing.

It was nothing to do with my niche whatsoever, but I guess that's the great thing about Amazon. I'll be writing a bigger update on the weekend as I'm actually away from home at the moment but felt the need to update about the sale.
