From my perspective, you've done well. You've seen the money, it must be motivating (considering it's your first affiliate site). Now you just need to keep at it and it will likely just grow magically* on its own (with some work sprinkled on top). The point is, now you know it actually works, right?
Mind sharing for some more context? That info would motivate me as well as I'm only few months in myself, simply growing the site, haven't yet monetized it (but I do get feedback from some people every now and then that they read my reviews and then bought one of the products and that I was super accurate about how all the aspects will feel using the product).
You're at the starting phase and you don't seem like one of those guys who knows these things inside-out bragging how they're making 1000 per day from the day they launched with shady tactics and whatnot, so your knowledge would actually be relatable.

- How many posts do you already have? (2 months in, I have 16 posts, 2k-5k words each)
- How competitive is the niche? (mine is semi-comp. - some products are not reviewed at all for example)
- How many visitors do you get per day and how many of them click on affiliate links? (I get only 20 organic per day)

- I have around 13 posts each containing 1500-3000 words.
- It's semi-competition.
- 50 visitors per day; 15-25 clicks. Around 20-30 organic traffic per day.
Congrats, keep pushing. Amazon is still a great way to make money due to the additional unrelated purchases you get a lot of times.

- Fully optimized content(keyword in the first line of the paragraph, H1 which includes the keyword, no keyword stuffing, H2,high quality content with 2500-3000 words )
- Experimenting Backlinks which includes guest post, profile links, do follow comments, Forum signature, and some no follow backlinks.
