Good advices given by OP. Thanks for sharing.
Oh God this thread is beautiful. You guys realise that if you direct link a shitty offer and put some random targets in you're gonna lose money? Just because you pay for traffic, doesn't mean it will magically make you money in a click of a button. Put yourself in the consumers position who sees your shitty offer - ofc you're gonna close the pop-up. But what ever, do what you do. Less competition for me and other proper marketers. I thought this forum would've grown up by now, seems like the opposite. It got more immature.
Don't get me wrong. I always try direct linking first and see if it converts, and if does pretty well I build 5 different landing pages, and see how they compare against each other. Then I choose the winner and try that different landing page with 5 more angles and choose the winner again. It may seem like a lot of work, but it works. It makes the campaign last longer as well as way better ROI.I haven't updated this thread for a while since the offer I was working with got pulled and I didn't find another that was performing as good. I still made a little less than a thousand bucks through that offer alone, and I was direct linking.
What you said above did not contradict what I said. "shitty offer and put some random targets". No one would argue that this would fail. However, an awesome offer with the right targets, you can get it to work with direct linking. Yes, you might get better conversions NOT direct linking, but it does not mean you cannot get your ROI in the green with direct linking. Even if you'll be going the LP route, I still think direct linking is crucial to test if the offer even converts first, then build an LP to optimize.
Everyone is free to do what works for them, no need for the offensive tone, man. We're all here for the same reason.
question is how you could generate as much as traffic to make the earning. by buying traffic will put your nails at risk, isn't it.
