My YouTube journey has been going for more than 5 months now and I still haven't been able to really haver success on it.
All I made in 3 months is around 100$, evenly distributed on thos 5 months.
This is what I tried:
1) - Upload videos on different channels with different topics (celebrities, sports, dating etc.), some self-made slideshow videos, some ripped videos (e.g. Jennifer Aniston nude in Mexico or Dating tips for men) - All in all maybe 70 videos
- Included my cloaked and iframed affiliate link: 90% email submit offers (Fashion giftcards), 10% dating offersn (only to the dating videos) in the video description and as an annotation with a few words
- Used Google and YT keyword tools to get some good keywords, tried to us them in title, description and tags
- Submitted links to Pingfarm, Digg and Stumblupon
- Used a little(!) bit of Vagex- Added like 12 likes to each video, no views
Barely worked. So next I decided to try Content Locking using AdWork Media:
2) - Uploaded videos in only one niche (celebrity niche, a specific niche of celebs)- Around 15 so far
- Videos were mostly ripped, just 2 are slideshows to promote the actual offer
- Created a nice looking blog with a .com address and several ebooks of the diet and workout plans as well as weight loss recipes to download
- Content locked these ebooks
- Put my link mydomain.com/diet or mydomain.com/recipes in the description and as annotation, paid attention to the keywords
- No Vagex, Enhanceviews or anything
- Submitting videos to Pingfarm, Digg and StumbleUpon
- My channel is actually popular- I have 400+ real subscribers and my most popular video has 35,000 views (ripped one)
- My blog gets good visits too (although not tons of traffic), but barely conversions
So yea, there I am. I don't really know what to do anymore- Trying to use Enhanceviews or so more, trying a whole different niche, going back to promote offers the normal way instead of content locking, content lock something else..
I really don't want to give up, that's why I really need advice on what to do.
Should I rather promote 'normal offers' again and always add thousands of views and some likes with Enhanceviews or so?
And if, what offers to promote? PPD, offers with higher commission (weight loss products etc.)=..?
And should I rather work with single landing pages instead of showing a whole blog?
Or should I just try to get more traffic to my blog (how?) or content lock something else?
