My Experiments with Google!

Well I was curious about Google's algorithm and when I got the results I asked some questions here to get an idea, what you guys know and I got mixed answers. Firstly I made a website with copied content and not much backlinks -

Its nearly 6 months old and got pr 0!
Second site had everything copied but good backlinks -

(It was adult and now I removed adult stuff, but it was pr 2 with adult content and without those videos)
So I came to know that backlinks are important but then I thought it might be some problem in experiment as first site was sub-domain and had a lot of backlinks and it might be like that - google adds up copied articles to pagerank.
Then I checked out third site -
(Its totally changed now and everything of experiment is removed)
This site didn't had much backlinks at that time and everything was copied and it was pr 0 and now nothing is copied but less backlinks and I got good visitors but pagerank is 0. Now I am starting to arrange for backlinks and I think it would reach pr 2 in next update.

Conclusion -
Backlinks are for pagerank.
Articles are posted to get in search results and pagerank helps in getting in top of the results.
Copied content don't affect much as my site - download city didn't had anything original and got pr 2 but i accept that it didn't used to get much organic traffic.
So firstly you need a good pagerank and then some original content and this can do magic!

Yes, content is to get traffic and pagerank is for getting in top results. So, in a way both gives you traffic

Well, now i am working on motorolafans.info . basically i have changed the domain of the site as "motorola" is a copyrighted name and now its gadgetgoat.net also because info domains don't have a good reputation these days (although it don't matters to search engines). I am focusing on good content and then some social bookmarking as i want traffic and then will focus of link building. I will surely share the results with all of you

thanks man..but i think too many copied article will make it low profiel site in the google eye

Well i did an experiment and it still have pr 2. But it don't get much traffic from search engines.
