My experience with yahoo answers

Although I have a long time no doing yahoo answers. But I would like to share my ever experience on yahoo answers to you.

What I want to say to you is that all my work is by hand. Including register account and vote to earn points. I know there is a famous software to auto vote questions and answer some easy questions to earn points.

I have no more than 20 lever 2 yahoo accounts, but to me that are enough. I always register 5 accounts a day and then make my profile real and upload the pic. I would not ask questions right now. I would vote first and then left it there for 2-3 days.

First you should know the level of yahoo answers.


So you obey the rules and then you will win.

How to ask questions?

I always use google keyword to get some keywords and put my often used keywords to my questions.
Ways to choose best answers: We know that we could report spam at yahoo answers, so I would not choose best answers until the last day. Sometimes I would prefer to vote my answers to the best answers. It works well very much and my questions seldom been deleted.

I just used a website to test my efforts and then I receive success after a month work.I got 4 or even more orders from yahoo answers.
Here are my traffic from yahoo answers(By the way, I am from China, so you may see the chinese)



80Ip from yahoo answers a day, maybe it is less than yours, but to me, it is enough because I only do a small business.

I think by Ip he means Impressions.

I have a question... how do you monetize in China.? Do you have a adense equivalent with Baidu? or maybe some CPA offers for Chinese or smthg? I have a really good (zhong guo ren) friend who i've been pushing to get into IM but a little stuck on what to suggest...

About 100-200$ a day. Not too much, but if you carry on, you will success.

Sorry I don't do baidu SEO work. I just use some chinese website to statistics my traffic.

I mean how are you making money? ecommerce? advertising? etc.. I think there is enormous potential on the chinese market in online advertising!

Further, from what I understand of your post, you are using Google keyword Tool to search for highly searched for questions - Ok, I got that part.

You are waiting the maximum allowed time before choosing a favorite answer so as to leave up your question as long as possible for maximum exposure, correct?

You say that you are receiving traffic from this but you don't mention how. What I mean is, where on the page are you advertising your website? I am not at all familiar with Yahoo Answers so this is all new to me. Doesn't Yahoo flag this as spam?

Yep, I am a Chinese. But I do SEO work with google. Lately I am learning baidu SEO. As you know, baidu has a large market in China.

First: only a few of my accounts get banned. But this is normal and doesn't matter to my work.
2nd: Yep. I use google adwords to get some keywords, but also I use some customer searching keywords to ask questions.
3rd: Sometimes I would vote my answers or just choose the best answers at the last day.
The end: I have mentioned that and don't put any ads to this forum. I got as much as 80ips a day and some orders from that.
