NOTE: Aparently I can't say ad f .ly
I come from CPA, but I decided to try PPI so I created an account on Media Kings. On the homepage they say"The average eCPM is $60 per 1K mixed traffic and $160 per 1K USA traffic." so I believed that. In cpa the smallest lead is about 50 or 60 cents. So I tought on PPI it would be about the same.
I decided to try to advertise on ******* for the first time, so I create an account there too and deposit 5$, I then choose Worldwide Traffic wich is just 1$ for 1000 visitors. Media Kings said that the average eCPM was 60$ so I tought that even if I had a eCPM of 10$ it would be great (for every dollar I spend I earn 9).
This was the result of 5$ http://i.imgur.com/eWjggj4.png
eCPM of 0,12$!
I had 29 leads making 61 cents. That's 2 cents per lead. What the hell? Is that the standard on PPI?
I also noticed that by choosing World Traffic on ******* they put your ad on crappy countries where they don't have advertisers.
So this is my experience, please tell me what you think.
