I wanted to start a thread to discuss ways of getting your money sites to rank highly in google, and to share my experience.

Over the past 12 weeks I have engaged in an intensive blackhat link building campaign.

    My Method:

    • Gradually and steadily, build up backlinks mainly from comment spam
    • Concentrate on high PR ******** links from multiple sources (PR 2,3,4,5,6,7)
    • Use keyword anchor text in all links
    • Link different keywords to different sub-pages
Basically, it's the classic blackhat linkbuilding technique. I have 15 main subpages. Most now have 200 backlinks, the top one has over 1000. Central domain has 300 backlinks.

In week 11 (last week), I started to rank on the first page for most of my competitive keywords and started to make good money.

This lasted for 2 days. Then, down to page 10 for 2 days. Then back to page 1 for 2 days. Then, page 10 again. All pages have been page 10 or below for 3 days now. I am concerned that they will not recover their position, and I don't know what to do.

I would like to compare my experience here with what other people have been finding. What might I have been doing wrong?

Basically what I'm trying to find out is this - does the classic blackhat linkbuilding method still work?

Shake up your backlinking strategy without taking too many risks...

Write 8 or 10 articles... Then...

Push each one through a spinner and post to article directories with no embedded links.

Push each article out into other blog networks WITH embedded links (each spun so no dups).

Put up each article as a hubpage, bukisa article, and squidoo lens (watch out, squidoo is gonna get useless pretty quick).

Then keep up with your backlinking strategy but extend it out to the location of each of the articles as well. The link juice will flow through to your site as each article gains position, thus pushing you up and your competitors down.

It's brutal work unless you outsource or get automated. But very well worth it. I've done this exact same strategy and the GDance gradually pushed me up into the first page where I hold my own again Fortune 500 corporate sites.

Hi search for "google dance tool" and check your keywords. Confirm if it is your problem and post here. Im having same problem with a new site: one day 10 of my keywords are in first page but 3 days after some of them disappear and when they return others disappear too. Today i look and all go back to first page

What do you consider "good money"?

I'd say give it a month or 2 and then see if its stabilized... just be patient and keep steadily building links so it looks natural... sorry if im preaching to the choir but sometimes the obvious issues are not so obvious
