My Expereince with AMR - Case Study

I just ran a test submission campaign at AMR and here are my results. I have it installed on a VPS with 1MB RAM and 100MBS internet port. I have used an original heavily spun article for the submission. ScrapeBox is used to measure the PR and indexing status.

PR4: 4

PR0: 128
PR N/A: 29


Google Indexing:
Instant G Indexed: 31
Instant G Indexed Rate: 0.66%

Any tips on how to increase the success rate?

Simply re-submitting the article several times to directories that failed for no real reason tend to go through - this can be due to timeout issues, incorrect captcha or other reasons.

Other things to try

- If you have used links in your body, remove these and stick with resource box links for a second submission
- I tend to use 2 links in the resource box - re-submit using 1 link instead of 2, and more will go through
- Reduce the amount of threads and increase the timeout option, I sometimes noticed that too many threads for some reason does get a lower submission ratio, but i tend to re-submit anyway.
- Make sure you have correct categories listed in the order of preference on your article. I would browse 2 or 3 directories from each directory type (Article dashboard, article friendly etc), and see common category names where you think your article would fit.
- Check for common directory errors which mention 'invalid summary' or 'possible bad article content'... If your submitting say adult/gambling etc articles, the acceptance rate will be alot lower and some sites won't accept these. With invalid summary errors, I think this is down to the amount of text in your summary box. I use roughly 1-2 sentences for this.

I think I have 4000-5000 sites listed in my AMR (not all subscribed), and I tend to get around 400+ live links after a week or so - and thats the ones AMR picks up, I've noticed some in the serps which haven't been picked up by AMR, but have gone through.

You will also find there are many sites which often don't work or won't let you submit articles, so you must take this into consideration when submitting articles. If 1000 of the directories you submit to don't accept articles, that will make your stats look alot worse than they actually are. WP sites tend to be worst I find for this - they let you sign up but you can't actually do anything with them.

@Dn100, Is there any way to get rid of those non-functioning websites? How can I group them so that I don't use them in my next submission.

I was checking AD directories and I have about 159 directories in Yellow Submit status. I have confirmed all the email but still These yellow dirs exist.

I can get through No HTML allowed by making a second batch of submissions without HTML in the body.

I can also get through Invalid Summary by making a third batch of submissions without summary.


But I don't know how to get through "category mismatch". I used: garden, home impro, general, news.

Any help?

As I am checking more directories It looks like there are some niche-related directories in the list that you can't submit every topic to those ones.

Does anybody have the link of the thread that has the download for the 5000+ article directory list?
