i also made a niche site and used the method like tier one and two.. but still no adds on it.. what u suggest about it wht should i do . coz its almost 3 mnths old... and recently made another web on a online game keyword according to silo... and now going for tier one...

ur info is useful.. but im new so its hard for me to digest it... wht u suggest for above.. would be appreciable :) thanks...
 
Hi. Im getting started with niche sites, and I have doubts about analysing competition in SERPs. Let's say I'm going for keyword "fishing poles". The 1st position in google is ebay, the second is big e-commerce site like this: http://www.anglingdirect.co.uk/store/ and the third similar to the 2nd one. After this there are low sites like gumtree or something - it's not big keyword. Do I have any chances of outranking these e-commerce sites and ebay with a small niche site selling particular kind of i.e. fishing poles? The keyword has about 1300 exact local searches.

With enough work, yes. Easily? Probably not. E-commerce sites tend to be harder to outrank than niche blogs (though not always). You don't want to base your entire research on monthly search totals. That's just the start. Once you find a KW that has search numbers you like, then you'll want to check each site in the top 10. How competitive are they? (Page authority, backlinks, etc). Low numbers doesn't always mean easy target.

A good resource for this is Spencer Haws site NichePursuits. There are some references to it in this thread. He has a good breakdown of keyword research in his case studies. (http://www.nichepursuits.com/niche-site-project-2-overview/)

Second question, how long does it cost to rank your website in top 10
My one month old website begin to rank, one keyword (390 searches) is now on #43, others are on N/A

Do you have any table plugin recommendations other than tablepress? it's causing a glitch in my wordpress. I'll have to restart my comparison table from scratch =\

I have a dropshipping site but its a lot of work. When I'm not making sales, I'm dealing with customer service and suppliers for fulfillment.

its almost easier just making the sale for amazon and having them deal with annoying customers + fulfillment of products.

I built my own PBN. I've purchased a few services here with larger packages which have included PBN links, but its just much safer and cheaper to build out your own network. When you purchase a PBN link, your actually purchasing a watered down link. Assuming you can keep it on the home page, which happens only about half the time when you purchase a PBN, your sharing the link juice with all of the other links on the page. Why do all of that when you can go on godaddy auctions and purchase your own for a similar price and reap a ton more benefit?

No idea how long it takes to rank just based on keyword MS. However, I'd say it typically takes a minimum of 3 months to rank most keywords.

Hi OP, I followed your thread and now one of my silo page is ranking 20th, (45 days old site). you said you put two or three links on each PBN, I want to do the same thing, put two links on my PBN that link to another silo page.
My question is "is your PBN still effective and safe after putting more than one link on the site?"
 
It probably doesn't need to be said that nothing is 100% safe. However what I do is make about 3-5 posts linking out to 3-5 of my money sites. In each post I link 1-3 times to different pages on that site.

To make sure I understand, each site in your PBN has about 3-5 posts that link out to your money sites?

If so, do you link out to other authority sites in the same 3-5 posts or do you leave unaffiliated outbound links for their own fluff articles?
