One thing i wish I had known about a while ago is portable laptop stands.

It makes life alot better if you only have a laptop. Then you can also get one of those sideways ergonomic mouses and bluetooth ergonomic keyboards. Theres also $30 computer glasses that aren't prescription, they just make your eyes like 20% less sore)

I do my work at the UMN library in Minnesota where they have free standing desks. These make it so you can work forever. They come with a big stool so you can alter sitting/standing. And I didn't get into college, so this also gives me the chance to pretend like i am a university student.

Even though i have a standing desk I still try to dance every 60 minutes for 1 minute. This fixes any stiff joints. That or doing push-ups or something.

The point of all this is to make sure I can work 14-16 hour days without getting injured and having to take a few days off

You need to toughen up... once the calluses are formed, you wont need ergo-anything!
