Hi everyone,

I have been lurking around this forum for quite a while now and been doing some SEO on my websites here and there in the past and have a couple of profitable adsense sites running but now I want to get into the amazon affiliate market.

Preparation:
Let's get to business.

I have purchased 2 EMD keyword domain names and registered them.
keyword 1: 1000 exact searches
keyword 2: 1600 exact searches

Then I bought 9 articles each having 500 words, 4 articles for keyword 1 and 5 articles for keyword 2.

When everything is setup and the articles are posted on the site I will start with the backlinks.

Money spent this far:
Keywords: $18
Domains: $26
Articles: $36

I won't promise you anything I can't keep. So I'm not going to tell you that I'll post every day but I'm highly motivated and I want to make my first sale with these pages as soon as possible. So I'll keep you posted!

(I'd give the services I used credit but I can't post links yet...)

I`m also planning to start this sort of thing, inspired by LBrown`s threads. Good luck to you mate. Subscribed.

Thanx for the inspiration buddy.Good luck with your future

Thanks guys! I'm really looking forward to starting

I wish you all the best bro !! May I ask where do you buy $4 / article ? What kind of quality you get ? Thanks

Update (09.01.2013)

Okay guys, so today I received the 9 articles for my two keywords. They were very... interesting, to say the least :D But for that kind of price I'm not going to complain. It took me quite a while to get them the way I wanted them to be...
Anyway, I setup Wordpress on both domains, installed the wpSEO plugin which I still had lying around from other projects and got ahold of two premium wordpress plugins from woothemes.
After everything was in order I placed the articles on the sites and opimized the internal linking, the keywords density and added some images with my keyword as the alt-tag.
I added my google analytics code to have a decent idea on what's going on.

Concerning the amazon affiliate products, I placed 2 blocks in the sidebar which appear on every innerpage and I created the page "KEYWORD reviews" and reviewed 3-4 products and placed the widget block next to it. I used the vertical block and stuck it to the site with the css code "float:left;", making the text wrap around it.

What I will now be doing is submitting both sites to google webmastertools and starting my backlinking process, which will be topic of my next post soon.

Have a great day guys and work hard!

how about the exact matches and search competition how many? your keyword is a low competition?

that was exact. what do you mean search competition? adwords competition is high

Take it easy on the fella eh!

How many search results come up for your search key word(s)? Here's how ya do it.. Go to google, type in your search... On the results page on the url of the results, type, at the end, &start=900 . This will take you to the last page of your results. Times that page number by 10(the number of results per search page) and you get the number of results for your search which is also the number of results that you get back for that key word(s) which also is the number of results you compete against. Lower the number, the less competion, the easier to rrrrrrank. Capiche?!

keyword 1: 8500
keyword 2: 8700

I'm really fucking pissed off by the article writer. I thought it'd be okay but looking closer at all the articles.. I just can't work with them. He delivered the biggest crap you could imagine. Spun to death making no sense and not minding my headlines & keywords. Is that always the case around here? Or am I just used to the german services where everything's a hella lot more expensive but the quality is top notch... So this throws me back quite a bit

I know a writer on Fiverr that is amazing - THIS IS NOT MY SERVICE - I just feel helpful today. Been using him for ages now and he's Canadian with perfect English. PM me if interested.
