My Down arrow key is not working

Thought perhaps someone can help.

On my HP Laptop

I have the 4 arrows together.
My Down arrow key is not working.

On the keypad itself where it says arrow and 8up, 4left, 6right, 2down. That works fine.

Any thoughts I have tried a few things.

I'd try some compressed air in it. Also, if you're able to pop off the kepcap then you should be able to clean out the contacts on the membrane.
 
Dude use virtual keyboard in os,..That will do...
 
Try banging it a few times. Always works. Your laptop is just short of a good slapping.
 
Everyone needs a good ass kickin every now and then.
 
I have also faced this issue because my A key have been pressed.
 
Turn it keyboard side down and bang its ass a few times so all the dust and crumbs from your cookies will dislodge.
