My Domain has been hijacked

Emailing won't help , call the domain registrar and tell them if you wont get it back you will take legal steps. ;)

I called up to them and they say you ask your domain reseller to contact us. they need a reseller id.
i told this to my domain reseller, they said we already spoke to the registrar and they ask us to mail them.

Good luck getting this back, goes to show that even the weakest link (gmail in this case) is enough to topple an empire :\

I received the reply from PublicDomainRegistry.com Compliance Team
"We are investigating this issue.

We anticipate your patience in the meantime.

Regards,
Compliance Team "

Hope i will get my domain back.

You are strongly recommended to buy whois guard with every domain name! This reduces the chance of unauthorized access upto 90%.
Painful story! Let us know what happens finally! Hope for the best!

Hey guys, here i got the reply from Registrar they need a Identity proof and some authorization letter.

Yea you'll need to send them a copy of your id for identification. Emails take longer with them, call them.
The hacker probably got access to your email, so make sure you change all your email passwords and scan your computer.

Thanks bro, i checked my system for viruses and ow i changed my email password to vey stong with step to sign in.

Hey Guys, This evening i received a mail from Public Domain Registrar
"Thank you for sending us the documents, we have moved the domain name: articlecms.in back into the customer account
Regards,

Compliance Desk"

Thanks a lot to Public Domain Registrar, who did this, after a big long week, now my domain is back to me.
Thanks to you guys for your sympathy and support.

Regards

I would strongly recommend that you scan your computer for trojans etc. in case that's how that person stole your info and if it's not too much of a hassle, do a clean OS reinstall after backing up properly. Glad you got your stuff back though.

Yes, i scanned my system but not found any virus or trojan, anyway i have formatted and clean install my pc.

Well done in getting your domain back!
I like to use Comodo Internet Security and since using that I haven't had a virus since. Maybe you had a keylogger running on your computer.
