My Domain Flipping Method | Free 4 All

hey guys (and girls),

this method is very simple. I have done it off and on twice in my life and now I share it with you.

I flipped my first domain for $3k, the second for $1k. the first was calltheboss*com. I heard some guy say "call the boss" in a commercial and I immediately registered the domain.

About a month later I was contacted by a domain auction site (after*nic) informing me that someone was interested in the domain and was willing to pay $3k for it. I got them to pay $3,300 to cover the 10% escrow fee imposed by after*nic.

The second time I banked on a domain was virginiatechshooting.com. I was just waking up one morning and getting situated on my computer when I saw the news story on the TV that a few people had been shot. I immediately went to go*daddy and purchased the domain.

I was contacted that day by newspapers wanting to do little stories on how fast domains get snatched up. I bid my time and flipped the domain soon after.

So the method is simple. keep a tv going throughout your day with the news on and as soon as a breaking story begins to unfold, fire up go*daddy and dont hesitate to click the register button if the story even has a chance of becoming big.

When did you do this jaedan? I just checked both sites and the people that bought them did not develop them at all.

this was a long time ago. I havn't flipped a domain in maybe a year? but its definitely easy and profitable as long as you don't fall into the addiction of registering crap domains lying to yourself thinking they are good.

Only go for the big wins. The tv news strategy is really good. think of how many searches got performed on the virginiatech one. I had setup a temp memorial site on it right after i registered and was getting insane traffic.

after u purchase the domain, can u actually leave it blank? and just sell the domain name itself?

Nope you have to put up at least 2 sexy videos or some random text longer than 519 words.

If you cannot do this within 2 weeks, they gonna take the domain from you.

Cool trick to get at domains is btw. to simply hack some sites and leave them blank, make sure they cannot access their hosting server. then, after two months simply get the domain yourself!

You are absolutely right. The risk is only $8 to $10 and there is a load of upside potential. I am just puzzled why both the people who bought the domains seemed to do nothing with them. However 95% of the people who buy IM products do nothing so they are no exception.

Did you monetize the virginiatech site in any way and use that as a selling point?

This is about domain flipping and not site flipping so no he (most likely) did not!
The guys who bought it probably saw some kind of longer time value (resale) in the domains, of used other ways to drive traffic to a parked site.

Edit or Update: To update your question, there was a website on there monetized like 2-3 months ago (it is after all a news event domain) [virginiatechshooting]. So yeah the guys who bought the domain actually did do sth with them.
