My domain expired. Did it hurt ranking?

I had a microniche site for adsense that i bought years ago. i didn't do anything else with it and let the registration expire. I wasn't making hardly anything off it.. maybe $.10 on a good month.
I bought it back about a month ago and was checking the rank for shits and giggles and noticed google sees it as being registered only a month ago. Did me letting the registration run out hurt it that bad?

All the links should still be there so I could not see it hurting. Of course I am no expert just thinking off the top of my head.
