I just lost my dog about 2 months ago to a tumor at the top of his spine. I know what you're going thru.

Where do you live ?
If you do live in France (speaking in ? and km), there are some vets for people who really can't afford those kind of fees. I forgot their name.
You could also go in a vet school where they can do it for free.
I kindda share your burdain too within a few months i would have to ask the vet to cut down her life... She got poisonned and became kindda epileptic but each time she is going into crisis her faculties decreases drastically, she is almost blinds and doesn't react anymore to anything but food..

Heart goes out to you C4V10, I've had three dogs from pups all lasted about 14/15 years before their time was up, broke my heart as I held them for the last time.
Unfortunately as you get older, family, friends, pets all start to go, it's broke me tbh, life's a right bitch like that. Hopefully you get the help you need, I'm not in a position to give it you unfortunately, wish you the best though.

There are tears in my eyes after reading this, i am strong man but i couldn't stop my falling tears.
