My Dilemma

Ok, so here is my dilemma, I'm current assistant manager in a bicycle store, I'm making $1000 a month, it's an average income here on Spain, but the hours are just crazy, my contract states 12 hours a day, 5 days a week, but most of the time I work well pass that time and they are almost always ask me to go work an extra day a week, I have a wife and two boys and I just can't spend any time with them.

I recently discovered this forum and the possibility of making money online, but while working in the store I just don't have the time to do anything.

I'm seriously thinking about quitting my job and make IM my full time job, but since I don't have any savings, I really needed to start making some money 1 month, or in the worst case scenario, 2 months after quitting my job.

I'm making this thread because I just need some insight about your sincere opinion about this subject, since I'm sure some of you now making a living out of IM lived through this same dilemma.

If I am to go forward and quit my job I really intend to spend as many hours a day as needed to start making money.

So my question is, without inicial investment, and with as many hours a day as needed dedicated to IM, can I expect to receive my first check in a months time?

Also, what methods do you advise that I start with in my current situation? (something that gets me on average $1000 a month and that I can be paid only 1 month after starting with).

My advice would be start trying something on one of your two days off a week and quit once you are earning enough. It's not that easy to replace $1,000 a month within a month. It takes a few months to build up an income stream.

Im sorry to hear your difficulties. To stop a job and start working immediately on net without much knowledge on how to make money is a risky move, especially when you have a family. My advice to you is to have at least 5-6 months money for expenses in savings before you quit your job. This to ensure that you have enough time to start making $ without having the worries of not making $ on net.

You are in a great forum and 5-6 months is more than enough for you to make $1000 on the internet. You need to be prepared to face difficulties and work hard to start off. I faced similiar problem and quit my work without having much savings, for a few months I struggled and went through "shit" time. I kept going and finally broke into IM full time. But I didn't have a wife and kids back then (im still single now ). You have commitments, therefore have the 5-6 months savings before you quit, it'll give u the time and less stress in being a full time Internet Marketer.

that was the most obvious choice, but I just can't do it, because most of the weeks I have just 1 free day, and even when I have 2, my wife is always demanding this and that, concentration would be impossible, believe me.

My question is, if I were to quit my job and worked my ass off here in IM, if I made that leap of faith, would it be guaranteed that I would be making at least as much money as I am in my current job?

What should I begin with, something that is rather easy for beginners but that has high revenue potential?

Hmm you can start off slow, doing freelancing stuff or write articles for people ( this is always in demand). Once you get the $, get someone to coach you to make more because most newbies will end up losing money in big stuff because they lack the knowledge and tricks. The big stuff will be CPA and affiliate related stuff.

I said start slow so you don't get burned off and could make some capital for bigger things. Go into CPA and affiliate marketing when you have money and guide from an expert (take coachings).

Bum marketing is a great way for you to earn money AND learn the ropes of affiliate marketing without spending any money. But it does require time to do. Guess a bicycle store can be very busy in Spain huh?

Just learn first. I am possibly the same situation as you, except that I do not have a job.

There are tons of methods that you can make money online. The problem is sticking to one.

So just do your research, which one is perfect for you, that fits your schedule on a part time basis.

Dillusion, I know how you feel but before taking any coaching, you will need a good basic knowledge. Could you build a simple website? Are you able to build a wordpress/blogger blog? Are you a perfectionist? Can you rewrite an article? etc...

I am being coached by someone now and without any knowledge on the table (I am too a noob) I find it hard for me to grasp what my coach was talking about. I believe that my coach is a patient guy but how about if he could not take it anymore? He would leave me stranded in the middle of the coaching...

I know that Affguy is somewhere in Singapore/Malaysia so the time difference with your time would be a problem since you are located in spain. This is another problem.

The good thing about Affguy is that I have heard a lot of good things about him. I might take his coaching one day...

Yes, what gilby said, learn the basics. Building blogger blogs/squidoo, article writing/content writing, SEO...

How about this, I will share you THE thread that explains a method which I made my first online buck... Careful though it is an old WF thread... This was before I know BHW:

It is really the most basic method ever. You should follow that and then once you get the hang of it, you could add your own twist...

The OP on that thread is now a member of this forum... uses the same username...

Don't give up your job yet mate, its not easy to earn money online. It took me 2 years before I can made decent money from online stuff. But of course that is the time before BHW existed.

Take your time, learn from the forum and decide which method you want to try first. Also learn some coding skill, and then start your online journey gradually and make it as a sidejob to your offline job.

And then after you have confident enough, and has earned at least half of your offline salary, then you can go byebye from your offline job.

try IM slowly whilst still in your day job, you may have to give something up for a few months to give yourself the extra time.
one very important point that nobody has mentioned is try to bring your wife on board. even if she can't help you make sure she knows fully what you are doing and supports you when you have to spend 3 hours on the PC every night/weekend.
otherwise she may just think you are playing games and get really annoyed!

My wife thinks I watch porn... She knows that my hobby is watching porn (Look at my profile, my hobby is porn movie appreciation)... She hawks over me to make sure that I am really doing IM

Dillusion, one more thing I need to add... Do not sign-up with any membership site yet... At this moment, you will need a lot of basic methods, free or with little investment mostly to earn steady income BEFORE you are tempted to take any membership site... When I was starting IM, I went to a membership site (I do not want to tell what name it is) and the membership site offers a lof of method... Makes me overload with lots of info...The worst thing is that you could get a lot of those info FREE here in BHW...

since you are assistant manager in a bicycle store, why not start try creating a review site about a bicycle and find affiliate program who sold that kind of thing, i'm sure you knew which one convert the best and don't quit your job yet..trust me..

What is bum marketing? It is marketing for FREE (Craiglist, Youtube, article submission, etc.) only investment of time needed, exactly what you need now...
