My Current Journey to Internet Riches

Ok so a few weeks ago I posted in here raving about how I plan to make it big in affiliate marketing again since i had done it once many years ago. Since then I read up on some methods on BH world. Took a lot of notes and brainstormed a little. I actually just read for well over a week before taking any real action because the last think I want to do is take action on something that will be a complete waste of time and money.

Then a light bulb went off in my head on a method after reading a post literally mentioning an opportunity that is not yet over saturated. So what did I do? I took action. I put my money where my passion was and started to invest in this method right away. I have been at it now about 1 week or a little less and my initial results are as follows:

Expenses: $1421
Revenue: $0
Average Daily traffic generated: 325 Visits. (Are they all bots? I sure in the hell hope not but who the fuck knows)

I expect this to fall but the traffic should keep coming in on it's own with my initial investment. Time will tell. It is targeted and all falls within my niche.

Pages Built: 1 really crappy single page lander with some links but it might just work. I have had some click throughs but as of right now I just have some related Clickbank offers so my expectations are really low for any conversions.

I am currently applying for related CPA offers hoping to get some approvals to run those which should have a much higher chance of converting.

SEO is a non factor with my current method and I could care less about it and Fuck Google anyways. They already fucked me once before so I have little to no interest in putting any eggs in that basket again.

Pages under construction: 1 much improved lander although it is taking quite a bit of work I think I can finish it in a matter of a couple of days and it should in theory drive a much higher level of user engagement and thus conversions in the end.

Lessons Learned: I forgot how much work this IM stuff is. Did I really just spend $1400 on an untested method? WTF?!

Are you using Bing and G.Ads both ?, What's the R.O.I on product you are promoting ? Is it legitimate or BH one ?

I am not using Bing or Adwords. Really this is not an option with my current content plus I am looking to get low cost traffic. My current visitor is coming in at 0.012 cents. I am keeping a close eye on acquisition cost so I can potentially make a profit one day.

I am pushing several related CB products for the time being but will be moving into CPA offers as soon as possible. I have been focused on traffic building most of the week so far. I figure where there is traffic there is a potential to make a dollar.

The traffic generation method is legal.

Ok here is my latest update on the path to financial freedom. I got accepted into a couple of CPA offers directly related to my niche with 2 out of 3 attempts. Not bad for having a really crappy landing page. The payout is in the $200 - $500 range upon a successful sign up for the offer I am focusing on.

The offer stated it does not allow bot traffic so I signed up for a bot filtering service that also tracks campaigns, clicks, landing pages etc.. to filter out the crap traffic. It also does geo filtering which which is awesome so I can segment the qualifying traffic from the rest and try to make use of that other traffic in the future on something else.

Current Stats:

1. Expenses: $1844 out of a 10K budget so far.
2. Revenue: $0
3. Daily Traffic: 500 mean average and falling daily for some reason

At this point I am hoping for a small win somewhere to help give a confidence boost. Yes I have made a lot in AM in the past but that was a long time ago so a few fresh conversions would certainly help the ego a little.

Next steps:

1. Test each new related CPA offer with at least 100 clicks each at a time.
2. Continue research into my current niche. There is still a lot to learn.
3. Continue to build traffic if the conversions start rolling in but there should be enough traffic to get a couple in now for testing purposes.
4. If conversions = yes start looking into pushing traffic via other methods such as PPC, Display and so forth.
4. If conversions = no then leave it running and look into the next fail fast fail often method to start on.

Keep it up man but you may need to look into what’s happening here. $1.8k spend with 0 revenue means there’s something going wrong here. You should’ve made at least one conversion by now
