heres a good one....
Been working with a CPA company for about 8 months now and I couldnt help but think that they were seriously skimming. so I did some looking around and joined a different company and proceeded to earn significantly better with them. my earnings from the original affiliate started to decrease as I moved traffic to my new affiliate. Finally they canceled my account and withheld my earnings (wasnt much so didnt care). This was a month ago.
now I recently got an email from them asking why my earning went down and if I build them back up again they will reactivate my account (lol). what they dont realize is that they didnt "fire" me, I fired them.
So I replied in a professional matter and subtly put that I think they were skimming my earnings and that I am earning better with another company. If they can match my earnings now I might consider re-joining them. We have been recently throwing numbers back and forth and I'm having a good time negotiating with a CPA for more money (a first for me)
.
moral of the story: YOU'RE the boss.....not them.
