Hello,
I've been lurking these forums for about a month now. Only about a week ago, however, did I actually begin putting serious thought into methods to be used in Internet Marketing. A major catalyst for my thoughts related to the subject has been viewing these forums and the encouraging atmosphere that is found here. It seems to me that the constant exposure to this type of material has changed my mindset to one more suited to making money.
To be completely honest with you, I'm completely broke right now. I'm 18 years old, living with my parents in an extremely depressing environment and currently have a total of zero dollars. This is irrelevant to me though, as I am completely confident in my ability to make money. Upon joining these forums, I noticed there was a noticeable amount of other newbies who were, in a sense, asking for a free handout. The kind of attitude that goes something along the lines of "I have what it takes to make money. Just tell me the secret to it and I'll do it. If I'm not making money, it's your fault for not telling me how. Don't be greedy." The mentality I am referring to is probably quite irritating to those who do their best to help the newbies out, and then in return are simply criticized for not revealing their exact method of doing so. Self-sufficiency is CRUCIAL to success. A lack of confidence in yourself and feeling that your success is dependent on someone else is ultimately completely counterproductive.
There is so much information given here for free it is absolutely ridiculous. You don't even have to be registered here to view it. A forum containing this much valuable information could have a monthly subscription fee of a a few hundred dollars and still be well worth it. Despite my current situation, I can still confidently say that the next sentence, short as it may be, is an extremely valuable lesson in itself. Think and read. Immerse yourself in a mindset that is driven towards making money. Try and make it a habit to look for ways to make money from anything, no matter how absurd it may seem. Once you've adopted this kind of attitude and stick to it, you will doubtlessly begin to see patterns and opportunities everywhere. There's nothing stopping you from doing anything. Not even the sky is the limit; the only thing limiting you from achieving your dreams is yourself. Don't waste your valuable time thinking about why you CAN'T make money as opposed to spending that time thinking about ways you CAN.
I'm beginning to fully realize the potential money in most anything you can imagine. I'm about to give you a random idea pulled from the top of my head that would doubtlessly earn you big money if you put your time into it. Yes, I would be able to use this myself. But considering this forum is one of the main reasons that I'm even getting ideas in the first place, I will contribute a little back to the community. If anything, I hope that my encouragement and method will at the very least stimulate thought or inspire someone to take action. As I personally have zero dollars at the moment, I would currently be unable to use PPC marketing in promoting this method. Nevertheless, I will still share it with you. If someone does use this method and makes good money off of it, then congratulations! That's enough payment for me; being able to see an idea that came from me used to generate money would be worth it. And I refuse to sell this kind of information without any previous credibility to myself, as easy as it would be to do so. I'll make this method as brief and to the point as possible, as to not overly complicate anything. Believe me, as soon as I get myself a little extra cash, I won't be having any problems getting rich as fuck. This is just one of the hundreds of random ideas I've been having over the past week.
MySpace has an "application" called Truth Box that has over 1 million subscribers to it. A step-by-step breakdown of the Truth Box application and the thought process that goes into banking off of it is as follows:
1. The MySpace user (quite likely an insecure and fairly unintelligent teenager) installs the Truth Box application.
2. The Truth Box application appears on the user's profile. It contains a form that anonymously submits whatever is typed into it, which can then be read by the user who has it installed on their profile.
3. These users, being as that they obviously care about what people think of them in the first place, are insecure. As I used to have a personal MySpace account with quite a few friends, I noticed there was quite a lot of bitching from others about wanting to know who posted the comment in their truth box.
4. Make a website (would EASILY be able to be indexed by Google and get on the front page for "truth box") that claims to be able to find out if someone left an anonymous comment based on a check of their friend ID against their suspected friend's ID. The thing is, though, the script always denies that that suspected user was, in fact, the one who left a comment. Before the user can see their results, they must complete a CPALead survey. After this, use the CPALead tool that provides bonuses for each survey taken to credit the user with another check for each survey completed. WHICH THEY WILL DO OVER AND OVER BECAUSE THEY WANT TO FIND OUT WHO LEFT THE COMMENT SO BADLY. If you don't realize the significance of this, just think about it until you do. What is done regardless of whether the user completes the CPALead or not, however, is a PHP script opens a socket to the given profile ID to confirm it is indeed a real profile. If the string "Invalid Friend ID" is found, neither of the IDs are logged. If it is legit, however, ID A and ID B are recorded next to each other in a database. (The reason for this, as you will soon find out, is pretty fucked up. But hey, this is Black Hat World, not Rainbow Happy Land.)
5. There is absolutely no competition for the AdWord "truth box." What, are you serious? MySpace is known as being one of the biggest Google Adsense whores in the planet. On the user's MySpace control panel, ads are displayed everywhere, including RIGHT NEXT TO THE APPLICATION LIST THAT WOULD BE LISTING TRUTH BOX. Also, people most likely wouldn't be searching the term Truth Box if they knew what it was, as it's simple to install even for the most simple minded user. Choose some AdWords such as "truth box, truth box hack" etc. Also, if you Google truth box, you will receive a bunch of extremely recent questions on Yahoo Answers. Hell yeah.
For example, here's a recent question that has been left on Yahoo Answers:
"Truth box question..and can you shock me?
Are truth boxes (on myspace) really anonymous?
and..can you come up with ANYTHING to say that could really
shock someone???
thanks!"
Asked two days ago and two days left to answer."
Here is the perfect opportunity to say, "No, it's not. That's why I don't use it anymore. The site (yoursite) lets you find... blablabla." You will have people jumping on that opportunity like stink on shit.

On Yahoo answers, pose as a random MySpace user who is complaining about wanting to know who posted the anonymous question in her profile and say that although she has had success using your site in the past, she had too many friends to check them all and was wondering if there was another site that could check without manually checking everyone you suspect. But the link to your site is still there for people who want to use it anyway. Then have fake accounts confirming that your site does work and to just be grateful that there is one out there. Thumbs up these answers. Make sure one of these answers gets best answer so that other people will think the shit's credible. Make sure this shit gets indexed to the top of a search for "truth box".
7. Now for all those related IDs you collected in your database. Create a MySpace account, have a badass DIV overlay, look professional as fuck, etc. Make the page say they're from the same service, and then message all ID B users and say that ID A (who they will obviously know) left a message about ID B and then for them to read what they said about them, plug another part of your website/another one of your websites set up to bank in a somewhat similar way.
8. Take advantage of high-ranking pages that either allow user-submitted content, user comments, or both for promoting your site.
