My competitor rewrite my articles

Sorry for late reply,

Quick Update:

I focus on my new site which is built on the fresh domain instead. I bring all draft articles from my main site and write some new articles. Most of them are only short 300 words but very low competition. I expect to reach 100th articles within next week.

Also depending on what is the content? If it is general knowledge, it is difficult, because general knowledge anyone can write.

Yes it is very grey area that is hard to prove.

Follow the DMCA takedown route. It usually works.
I will keep this in mind and use it when necessary.

I read your last post on how to deal with this thief and I think your solution is quite reasonable. Still, I think doing a Google DMCA will protect you for future updates.

Anyway, expireddomains has a search feature you can use to find your niche domain. A seller on here, authorityoutreach.com has some expired domains (I am not affiliated with this guy).

Can you prevent this from happening again? I tell everyone that the internet is a copy and paste database so keep doing what you're doing to make money and let go of what you cannot control. You poured out your angst here and you made a decision based on feedback. I wish I had traffic like you do.

Thank you for your idea. I want to use this issue as the energy to push me to make something new. Yes it is very common for online world.

For this level of traffic, I think it not really hard, everyone can do it. Blogging is not rocket science, it will work as long as we spend time to do it. Create content that we feel proud to read and give value to the reader and start with a very very low competition even the search volume is low. I heard someone even start with zero search volume. Sit down and spend time writing, it will work.

What does the above mean?

If it's a SHALLOW REWRITE, the content will be DERIVATIVE CONTENT and you can probably get his HOST to take down the infringing content via DCMA

But if the rewrite is DEEP - ie., uses the same info but using a different angle, different words, and aims to be BETTER than its sources in terms of engagement, you will have a tougher time proving your case

It is very hard to judge this content even for me. I will keep this in mind and take this action if necessary. For this time being, I focus on new site first and see how it go.

Negative SEO don't work these days as I know

Yes I think so. Let me verify this idea lol
