my competition Dominating with no backlinks

I have been busy buying PBN from the best providers on BHW and doing all sorts of Seo. And my competition, I know who owns it, not very tech savvy and anti Seo is dominating everything, Was wondering if a senior member/memebers of repute on here would be willing to have a look at the two sites and maybe share their understanding of whats going on.

I obviously can't put the domains in public view, but will be willing to share with one or two people for analytic purposes.

Anyone?

How do you know he doesn't have backlinks? A lot of good SEOs block Ahrefs, OSE, and Majestic in the robots.txt to hide where there links are coming from...

He could be doing that.

It may also be the length of the content or other factors holding you back that he's not experiencing.
 
Sure OP send them to me if you would like and I will analyze the situation. A lot of times you will end up finding
hidden networks. It's not too hard to block out tools. =)

Well, how to block Ahrefs in the robots.txt?

they prolly use 301s so you dont see the links.

very veyr old method, cover on my blog loads of times

Oh I didn't know you can block Ahrefs, Moz OSE and Majestic and others like those? I am a newbie myself and now I know! How about woorank?
 
99% sure there using 301's

You build links to your 301 website, then you block crawlers from the website. Seen similar things happen often in higher competetive niches.

Yeah, Google around some "blocking web crawlers on your site"

Using 301s is a way tighter way to button it up, as some of these crawlers have a mind of their own and will still find your links because they're coming externally. So they see the link to you but then can't access your site, and thus, they still index the link in their service. Majestic is probably the most powerful crawler on the web in my opinion (besides Google itself), and they do a pretty good job of this.
 
Wordpress has tons of plugins that block Bots from ahrefs etc... Your competitors are smarter, than you thinking. 301 is also possible... It must be really difficult keyword.
 
hmm sounds interesting but I dont think "dominating" without quality back-links is something that exists
