My client queries. Can anyone give solution?

Queries:

1. My parenting blog traffic range is set fixed by Google, no matter what I do. Even in past, before March update my traffic was 4.5K unique visits a day for more than 1 year.

User engagement was good, number backlinks were not great but still regularly off-page SEO was ongoing.

2. Even today after March Update the traffic is stuck to avg 2K per day no matter what backlinks I get.

I have observed that If my new post starts ranking, Google stops favouring my old ranking post.

Is there anything which is obvious reasons to this control by Google?

I basically do the heading tags, image alt tags, keywords sprinkling while writing, metas, and interlink too. My clients site traffic got reduced by Feb month, and now we are linking the new posts, but no keywords are increasing and no traffic too

Also traffic went down from 4.5 to 2k per day

Compare the landing pages of both period and see which post was giving you more traffic. This might give you an idea on what kws went down.

Currently as per my experience, if your site gets stuck then adding more backlinks wont do anything. All you can do is wait and see

p.s. run Ahref report to see the kws movements as well

Also I think some quality .edu links will help (Harvard, etc) & some embedded links on your competition websites. If you can, ask them to quote some of your articles, or create a RSS Feed...
