My ChatGPT account is a Plus account with $2,500 in API credit. I haven't violated any rules, but a few days ago when I logged in, it said "You do not have an account because it has been deleted or deactivated." I filed an appeal at https://help.openai.com/ and emailed [email protected], but I haven't received any human response.


Has anyone else encountered this situation, and how can I resolve it? Thanks.

I registered my account myself, but the 2500 USD points in it were bought. used an organization transfer method, and the account was blocked the day after I bought the points.

So that's probably the reason why they blocked your account.
 
Reach out to support with your proof of purchase. It might feel strange, but try to explain that you believed you were buying the credit directly from OpenAI.
 
Since you bought that than the seller removed you from the organization
if he didn't added you as admin or if you didn't deleted him after that

That's not the reason. If it were, I would only lose the 2,500 US dollar credits. Now my entire account has been deactivated, possibly because I used a VPN.

yes that happened with many people. people use fake credit card or stolen card and use to transfer or buy point and when open ai findsout they banned you.
 
Its obviously the grey market credits that caused it. THanks for the heads up, i was actually considering buying one shortly

No. I use a vpn all the time. That;s not the problem. They terminated your account because of fraud. you bought illegal credits and they detected it.
