Hi,
About 4 months ago I started sending bulk mail. I monitored my website via GoogleAnalytics and, for more and less 1200 email I used to send per day, it had about 40 visits coming from the emails each day.
My mail lists come most from Skymem site.
I used two methods of sending emails:
- using gmail pop to send half of the emails
- using php mail list on my hostgator account to send the rest
Now I'm using only the hostgator account, cause I'm afraid of having my gmail account banned. I realized that hotmail and yahoo blocked my emails from the hostgator account, so I exclude all hotmail and yahoo emails before sending.
Still, for the same 1200 per day, I'm having about 10 visits per day on my site.
Anyone could have a clue of what should I do? Do you believe I'm using a good method to send bulk mail?
I've heard of people using VPS to send it, would it be a good method? My hostgator account is normal and I use the php mail list tool.
Also, are the mail lists from Skymem reasonably good?
Thank you a lot in advance.
