Hello,
Ill head into the topic.
People around me stick to a project and hold onto it and scale it up to amazing levels.
Some of them does e-commerce, some of them own websites.
And they make significant money.
The problem is, I am a Web developer. I can code barely everything.
If I go to ecommerce, I can create bots on my own that controls the marketplace and gives me the statistics of the products that I am analyzing.
If I go to blogging stuff, I can code my own bots that scraps the Internet and posts them.
But even in this situation, I am facing the issue that people's are not knowledged about computers are making more money, so the key point must be sticking into to project tightly.

But here is the problem, I cant trust the projects and ideas I ve got.
For example, I have a course on dropshipping and the main idea is finding and listing products. I am asking to myself that "is this gonna make you money?" "is that what you gonna stick for couple next months?" and I am skipping that idea.
For example, I tried cpa for couple days, build a system that handles all the stuff, I let it work and next day I earn 2.5 usd but other day I asked myself same questions "is that you gonna try for" "will you gonna give your hours to trick people?" and I skip.

The problem is I can't trust ideas. My friends does.
For example one of them heard something about selling on amazon, he bought some courses and dive into it, and now he is making some.
But I cannot make myself do the same thing.

Ideas don't come to my mind, I am stuck.
I have read the money making and my journey sections but they are old and cheap methods, I need something that I can bind my life on it. I have time and knowledge. I need an investment idea for my time and knowledge but I cannot find it.

HELP PLEASE

Looks like you're afraid to succeed. I always acted the same way in the past, stopping right after the first results.
Meditation + healthy diet + business partner fixed it for me.

Good luck mate.
Not everyone gets a Business Partner so ignore that point OP but yes,Healthy Diet and Meditation is a must like @BlackFawkes said.

Similar to those that are perfectionists, the fear of failure keeps you from pursuing your ideas.

And in terms of coming up with business ideas, just remember that you should be solving a problem that people have. Luckily you have some skills that gives you a much wider range of options.

You made $2,5 in the first few days of CPA?
Most people don't get to a point like that in just a few days, just imagine how much you can scale that $2,5!
If you need someone to talk to about this hit me up in PM.
Good luck on your journey.

Man!!! I am just like you. I can code anything for the most part, but I have got this damn perfectionist mindset that doesn't let me do anything after analysing and finding faults in them.
It's like I have all the knowledge and tools right in front of me but I still feel stuck for the most part.
You're definitely not alone

Maybe you just like the developing part and you are not that type of person enjoying dealing with other stuff. Try to find a partner, if not, try to outsource things that you can't do or you don't want to do. This mindset helped me a lot.

God, you described me. We're clearly not alone. I made 12$ with a method here right on the first day, and I quitted it right after for overthinking about it.
And I can't stop doing that. It drives me crazy.
Following this thread.

If you have skills as a Web developer, maybe you need a partner that is good in project management or traffic generation.

Like some other members here suggested, a partner that complement what you lack at (either ideas, organizing, dedication, etc) can be the best thing.

Well, if I were you, I would start with testing every field I can, like cpa, like dropshipping, like blogging, like amazon affiliate etc. and once I get the point, I scale it up.

So I would end up spreading my revenue stream across multiple methods, not only scaling up each method, but stack them all together, allowing the scripts make money for me, each make a small amount, but together it adds up to a significant amount.

imagine you have a vacuum cleaner, and a floor full of pennies, the vacuum is your scripts in each method, the pennies are your revenues from each site, offer, whatever.

Rule of thumb, if you can spread your eggs and not have them all in one basket, do spread.

I have been thinking of working on a method that my perfectionist brain would consider as "not good enough", so that my ultimate goal with it would be to just "waste" my time on it everyday.. just for the sake of doing.

If my mind knows I'm wasting my time on it and doesn't expect any good outcome out of it, it won't interfere with the process of "just doing for doing sake".

It sounds stupid to resort to tricks like this to get shit done.. but I find that when I care too much about something I really want to do, I end up not doing it at all.

It just seems to me that you don't really want to be an (online) entrepreneur. If you don't absolutely feel the need and the desire to try all these methods out, then you won't make it very far. You should be burning with desire to try and test whatever venture caught your attention.

So you're doing the right thing. If you're doubting, instead of being excited and enthusiastic, then it's better you focus on other stuff.

Not anyone can be a business man and a sales person! Some people can only work certain ways like study to be a dr or a scientist or an engineer or a teacher ... you are one of those. You need to accept this fact and move on, make money based on what you know and what you do. As a computer programmer you can make a decent amount of money and get going.
Don’t stick your nose in things you don’t know or your brain can’t handle.
I see this all the time, I consult companies (startups) and I get puzzled about some of their mentalities! Some know nothing about how to make sales, yet they come to me wanting to sell Amazon and want me to help them out a product line/ ideas for them, they have the money to spend and that’s about it, but to sell on Amazon you have to understand what products to sell, where to buy them from, difference between manufacture price and retail price or even wholesale price, inventory control, quality control and many many other things.
Stop thinking about it,just do what you feel comfortable to do at this stage.

You are going about it all wrong. You are thinking too much about best optimal utilisation of your talents. You are thinking to find what I call is a First Shot Winner which requires a process. The process is trying one thing, seeing if you are compatible with it in learning phase, then implementing it and making steady income, then automate it and move to next thing.

Generally, what I found is the first thing I get into is 99% of time the best thing for me, just need to have the patience to follow through. So follow the process and you will find your holy grail and you will make money while you are in search of it.

"is this gonna make you money?"

That is not how you dive into business.

Instead.

"how many demands for this product/services?"

"how much this product/industry market worth? Million? Billion? Enough money for everybody in this niche?"

"top competitors for this industry? Can I beat them?"

"where you gonna market your web or product and how. SEO? Paid ads?" <--- hardest part. You gonna spend more time, and more money in here.

"how much profit I'm gonna get? $1k per month? $10k per month? $100k per month? $1m?"

It does not need to be perfect product or services, even though you sounds like you had perfectionist or OCD syndrome like mine.

Because the end result is all about MONEY $$$

Once you've got the money, you can scale up your another idea and launching more “PERFECT” project using that money, cutting experiment time by outsourcing them all.

You just scare if you spend countless hours of your time coding into unsuccessful project.
