My blog have PR 5 from PR 2 this week, error?

Hi!

I have a blog with PR changes this week. I was notified by a PR-based ad sistem that told me that I now earn more because of that. It was originally PR 2, yesterday it was PR 5 and today again its PR 2.

Why? Some page rank webs detected PR 5, and some PR 2... I know it is not very important but I have curiosity about this matter.

Anybody had something like this?

Depending on the data center the websites you use to check page rank are accessing, this may cause the fluctuation that you see. Different data centers report different page ranks for Google.

I would also be careful about which sites you use to check page rank. There can be big discrepancies whether you are using the tool on your bowser or a website that checks page rank. Try using Alexa.com's page rank checker.

Thanks for your answer. But, what I meant is:

- I see in XXX web about my PR and it says today is 2.

- Suddenly, one day, the same site says my PR is 5.

- A day later my PR is again 2 (my real PR).

And it only happens with one of my sites and only with it, not with other webs i usually visit (my PR plugin in firefox and chrome said, only for one day, that my PR was 5.

That is what I mean, the same site says PR 2 - PR 5 - and PR2 again.

just install seo quake plugin.. it tells actual PR ...

As you said XXX site will not use same data center results. It may use various data center results to show you the PR. I would suggest you to install PR plugin to monitor your PR.

My Firefox extension is "Quirk Searchstatus" and in Chrome, "Pagerank status" (and both changed from PR 2 to PR5 and next day from PR 5 to PR2, was really curious).
