So today I visit my blog and discover that where there should be adsense ads there are instead ads from http://www.Appnexus.com?

I have never had to deal with this before and have no idea what to do in order to fix this issue. I tried generating new adsense code but that did not work. Also I have text links to ads in my articles which I did not place there.

I think I know who is responsible for this but I want a way to prove it.

Obviously I want to fix the problem as well. I guess I could do a fresh WP install and start from scratch as I just started on this blog so it wouldn't be too hard.

Anyway if any of you have experience with this or any type of insight/suggestions I would really appreciate it.

someone must know about this type of issue?

Contact your host would be my first call. they should be able to wind back to the last backup and check for any malware. Apart from that I hope you have your own backups

look for plugin called wordfence. Installed it and it will check your website and see what is wrong. it will also email you if you something has changed without your knowledge. I had to use it recovering from a hack site and it help me out alot.

You can also use sucuri site scanner as well

Start by changing all your IDs and passwords would be the first step. then backup your website.

I think by going to look for this question you will get the answer to fix this problem !

Are you had been upgrading your wordpress site to the latest version ?
Are you using a theme that is really secure so no one can access your site and also put a backdoor access script to your host?

Take a look at this step-by-step :
1. If you're still not upgrading your WP to the latest version you need to upgrade that to the latest version of wordpress platform
2. Check your theme !! Is that someone put some hidden code in it ?
3. Check your plugin one-by-one because sometimes a developer input some code in it for display that ads.
4. Call your host to help you identified your site and checking any backdoor access activities , SQL Injection, etc.

I think that's all you need to identified the problem . Lastly, sorry if my english was so bad :o
