My biggest problem

My biggest problem is I do not know what other people want. Yes, that's for real, I tried to search twitter and social networks but I can find almost nothing with my search terms, just others' ads.
Also another side of this problem is that I can't create anything catchy, e.g. ad texts. When I see other ads they all are not catchy to me, I see that they are created by other webmasters and they just want to sell useless things I do not need or try to make me complete offers for which they'll get 1$ and I will get my mailbox bombed and nothing else.
Even my BHW threads hardly get 2-3 replies.
So how to overcome this problem and get new ideas?
P.S. Sorry if this is a wrong section.

with that kind of a thinking, maybe you are just in the wrong business?

Almost everything you can do online is connected with finding people who need what you do.
 
of course you cant know what everyone really wants because in the 1st place, you cant please everybody. one thing would be good for someone, but not for anyone. i think you are very general there.
 
Its not that difficult. See what they are searching for in keyword tools. Master the keyword research for the same. That's the only way you could read the minds of those prospects
 
When you are running your own business you have to be creative, think on you own, outside the (scrape)box, coming up with new ideas and creating twists for methods found on BHW. You have to interpret, measure and analyze results you get and change things to make it work. This is not for everyone (despite of what others might say), if you are not up for this you should consider doing something else, like getting a dayjob. (no shame in that, imho)
 
Why don't you ask what people want? Yeah, go in the street and ask people what they every day problems are, go in locals and ask owners what problems do they encounter, go to surgeons and ask them if they would like something that will make their life easier. It's not that hard.

of course I understand that fact. I want to find something that is interesting for some representative group of people.

That is like a ring. I should find keywords to type to the keyword tool. The keywords I am able to come up with are to general or too specific (e.g. have 5-10 search volume).

It is never late to give up, get a dayjob etc.
Before I was thinking that my problem is lack of money, poor knowledge/experience etc etc, but after some years of online experience I've realised that my main problem is the one I talked about in the first post.

Well, i tried, they need food, clothes, new cell phone, and enlarge penis. These niches are very general and saturated.

Well, to be honest, I myself do not know what I expect from this thread. I know there's no "magic method" etc, only hard work. Just thought to share my experience and see what others will suggest.

But since you seem to think that the first three are "saturated", focus on the Time Machine.

For your problem about catchy ads, I don't think it matters whether or not YOU find them catchy. I think what matters is if your targets find them catchy.

I do something i love and that I am knowledgeable about.. for example, if I am passionate about rap music (just an example), then I share on my website the latest releases of my favorite artists, their videos, try and get some interviews, organize a contest, put a calendar with concert dates, etc.. people who like it will find it and click/buy whatever it is that is making you money.

Now if I try to do the same in say.. graphics processor cards, I'll probably spin what I find here and there, but people will immediately see that I don't know shit about GPUs and that I am not in the least way knowledgeable about it.

Its all about knowing your target audience, before trying to provide something for them. And the best way to know them is when you are one of them. :cool:

Yes, but how would I know what's catchy for them, I do not understand the way people who enter their email hoping to get FREE iPad are thinking.
 
I don't know what they're thinking too. But something tells that maybe those people think that they will somehow get a free iPad by signing up. A couple of years ago, I actually won one of those.

Ok may you suggest how do I find general keywords to paste in the keyword tool? All I can think of is too general or has almost zero searches.
 
you need to focus and understand your target audience. your actual problem is that you are confused, just be firm and focus you will solve your problem.
