On one of my side buisness I use a specific bank, for all buisness with this project.

I recived a fraudulent chargeback(unauthorized use) on June 26(for a whopping $600.00), To make a long story short, I fought with the guy(not physically) pretty much the whole month trying to recover the money, which he finally wired to me on the 2nd.The $600.00 debit from account resulted in my account going negative and being charged the ridiculous fees by the bank, After it was all said and done my account was overdrawn around $700.00 by the end of july.

I contacted the bank and explained the whole situation, and their reply was "Since it isnt bank error, it isnt our fault. And yesterday they took all the money out of my other accounts to cover these fees.

In all actuality I owe the bank $350.00 which they fronted me, and I told them I had no problem paying that, BUT I was not going to pay the overdraft fees and negative balance fees because all of which was out of my controll, and stemmed from the fraudulent chargeback

Whats my best bet to get my money back?

you have to go to branch manager

then regional manager

to get that amount taken off - the average employee out of their depth

also it's very difficult to get these people to do anything for you these days - especially if overall it's not their fault.

I had someone bounce a check for 3k - but not until the bank had cleared the funds already - so for example on thursday they said the funds are cleared - then the following tuesday they said the check was no good - so it overdrew that account - now I only found this out 7 days later when a notice came in the mail - by that time it had racked up 1,000 in charges

now I got it all taken off the charges that is - but in my case they had cleared the money first so they felt obligated not to penalize me - in your case your almost going to have to beg

anyway good luck - go up the food chain and not down - dont speak to anyone on the phone speak to them face to face as well.

Thats why i don't deal with banks.. all my money goes in the jar and buried in the flower beds for hard times and only use greendot pre paid cards to pay bills

it's probably just as expensive to fight it as paying it now

I hate like this dealings from some banks,

kidnap the child of this director, let them fix your problem forcibly :rocketwho ..

I hope to resolve your problem with them very soon..

The bank wont care about your sob story, even if its true. They don't care, they want their money. In the end you will have to pay it. So may as well get it over with and pay them. Move on and learn the lesson.

If the chargeback was fraudulent take him to court and he'll end up having
to pay your fee's losses and costs. If the bank was culpable in the fraud
they would be liable too.

Go talk to them in person, it will ALWAYS work better than on the phone. Your chances probly still arent great though.

Thanks the advice(except the guy who said somthign about kidnapping)

Ill talk to one of the goons in the A.M...if no luck im pretty sure theyll back down if i take them to small claims court
