Well this is new.

I have deposited various cheques into my account before and they would get cashed within 30 working days. This time apparently the bank has lost the cheque. I deposited it in the first week of last month but it still isn't cashed. I called up the bank and they said that they don't have any record of the cheque (they checked against the cheque number that I gave them).

I do have the receipt of the deposit. The cheque was from Clickbank. I don't want to go into the hassle of reissuing a new cheque and then depositing it. What can I do?

I second that....thirty day clearance and they lose your cheques. Do you have a deposit slip ?

Well I'm from Asia so I'd say it's normal to take 30 days and Yes I do have the deposit slip.

Since you have the deposit slip, it would work as a proof that you did deposited the cheque.
Visit the branch where you deposited the cheque, ask them to talk with the manager, explain him the issue.

That must get it solved. But! Then later, don't forget to change it, since a bank who can't even manage cheques, how can you expect them to manage your money?

Edit: Nevermind. Didn't notice you have the deposit slip. Yeah you might want to escalate the issue and get it solved there.

get a payoneer card and you don't have to deal with any cheque anymore

i still don't understand why the usage of cheques is still popular overseas, it's a pain in the ass, waiting for it, cashing it out
it's so 20th century
there are other more reliable and faster ways to get paid for some time now

Well you could just cancel the check with clickbank. Its easy, just email them and youll get the balance forwarded to the next cheque

Just email ClickBank and tell them you lost the check. They'll re-send you the check or merge your payment with another check. Also, why the hell does it take your bank 30 days to count money? If I were you I would open a checking account online with a better bank and would have ClickBank direct deposit all future checks into that account.
