My backlink building strategy

Hi,

I am just a newbie starting out building backlinks to my e-commerce site on which I also have a very useful blog for my niche.

My strategy is to use Google to find Forums where my niche is being discussed and then answer various questions and put links to articles or pages of my website.

I put the following string into Google

Code:

[FONT=arial]site:.co.uk "Powered by vBulletin" *mykeyword here[/FONT]

On each Forum I submit 2-3 posts with no links so the moderators don't ban me, then a few days later I submit 1-2 posts with links.

Is this method going to increase my Google rankings at all?

How many Forums/Backlinks is it safe to do per day? I am doing it manually.

Forums are better for traffic and displaying authority more so than seo backlinks value imo.

Can you give me some better ideas on how to build effective backlinks, providing I am just a beginner?

Just a bit of advice. I just got this software today.

It costs some money to buy ($67) and keep safe with proxies ($10/month) but Scrapebox will save you a ton of time. It will also help you find forums on your niche you never thought of. Also, it will tell which forums are better for backlinking.

So its important to keep changing IP even if you manually submit posts with backlinks to your site?

I thought you just need to keep a variation of user names and post/link styles going.

How does google know the IP of the user who submitted the post? Is it possible?

Changing the IP is only for scraping Google. If you scrape too much, too fast or in any way make it look like your searches are automated then Google will ban your IP for awhile.

As far as submitting links, I'm not really sure. I imagine that most forums will record your IP but I'm not sure if Google can tell. Also you might have a difficult time logging into a forum if your IP changes.

i heard of this method a while ago and also tried it to use it for my niche. for most of my keywords i just find really old post/forums that are early 2000s is this still relevant to post to this? i think in many forums the moderators dont like it if you post to really old posts. so if i post to 2-3 other things and then post on an old post, is it safe? does it even make sense to post to this old posts?

should i go for scrape box too? im quite new to backlinking with software and im not quite sure if i will mess it up by not using proxys or stuff like this. how noob friendly or safe is it to start with on a business site/blog.
