My Authority Site Journey

I will documente my methods in this thread, so people can replicate them if I have success. I hope everyone can learn something useful! My plan is to create an authority website in the fitness niche (I won't say exactly, why would I need more competition?)

I've had this website for about a month now and I was messing around with my other sites at the time, but I sold all of them off to focus on this one, because I know that there is huge money to be made in this specific niche. For the month of February I had about 200 uniques, but I honestly didn't do any backlinking or anything to give me views besides posting articles. This month I have 50 uniques so far.

So far I have 8 published articles. Now, I'm waiting for my writers to produce some articles.

Planning on quickly posting at least 30-40 high quality articles to the site, then I'll start posting articles only once a day.

Bought a new WP theme, currently changing the layout of the site! 21 Clicks today on my Amazon links, but no sales. Posted two articles today, waiting for them to be indexed (about a day) before I send them over to Ezinearticles.

Also, I created a facebook group and twitter today for the site.

Uniques jumped from 50 to 125 today. Pretty interesting...

Are you using google analytics? or some other plugin o.0
