Been here on bhw for awhile trying to make money here and there and after a few years ive gained alot of knowledge about seo but only lack real experience. Anyway, i've decided to follow xfactor's authority site method since i have a ton of free time and no REAL income so far.

I've done all the "broad" keyword research as suggested by xfactor and have already set up the entire site... home, about us, privacy, theme etc...

I've already written 2 HIGH quality themed articles (indexed) with word count between 850-1000. Currently have 0 backlinks since i plan on creating backlinks once i have atleast 10 articles over 8 categories.

I plan on doing mostly white hat seo with sb blasts to link wheels only (might be considered grey hat).

Initial Plan:

1. Write 1-3 articles every day till I reach 10 articles.
2. Once reached 10 articles, i will build about 10 quality backlinks to homepage and about 5 quality backlinks to each article everyday manually.
3. Continue to add articles + backlinks....

---NOTE---
This is a long term project and atm im not worrying about making money for atleast 1 month. If I keep persistence and hard work im sure this site will eventually earn me a few hundreds a month (which i will reinvest into the site to increase revenue via outsourcing linkbuilding).

damn those articles take long to write! hope i can motivate others while also keeping myself from quitting b4 success :p

I'm doing the same thing using pretty old pr2 domain, pr3 in the last update, been doing it more than couple of months now.

The domain has no keyword in it. Without doing anything special except adding unique articles managed to get to page 3 of pretty competitive keyword (more than 1 bill result returned without quotes) with lots of gov authority sites.

Now after just one scrapebox blast is nowhere to be seen on serp but strangely visitors have increase steadily.

I dont sweat it though, its all in the name of testing. I'll follow your progress closely.

I'm planning on doing the same so I will follow this thread.

I just bought an aged PR6 website from the GoDaddy TDNAM bargain bin to use to sell backlinks. But after reading the Xfactor authority site plan, I'm thinking of trying it out on this domain also.

Keep us posted and good luck.

oh yes, regarding the PR that most people have such a keen eye towards. As we progress i'll show some of u a little secret i used to get a website with 3 articles, 20 entire domain backlinks to PR 3. cool thing is, i got these 20 backlinks in the course of 3 days :D

I'm thinking about creating one on my PR4 13 years old Golf domain.
But I really don't like the works involved.... lol
Maybe I'll just fill it with wprobot or something.
Or maybe a JV..... anyone?

Seriously... I'm in the process of creating one authority site on different topic.
The site already makes some bucks and I use the earning to outsource the articles.
One article each day, it has around 70 articles posted right now.
Maybe some SEO later, I'm doing the linking myself right now.
I will keep doing this until I reach at least 200 articles posted.
Getting the right-good-affordable outsourcer is the hard part.
I started this with around 30+ articles posted.
make $100+ per month now, since I only use Adsense
Maybe I can make more with affiliate but I don't like check payment
unless it's $500+/month :D

I have another one that can be converted to authority site.
Have 25 posts already and make around $50-$60 from adsense.
Actually it's good enough to support the site itself.
maybe someday.. lol.. I really hate myself for being a big procrastinator.

Mate, a tips straight from my heart is to be natural when building backlinks. Google will penetralize you if you build only high PR backlinks to your site. They have a very advanced algorythm you know.

Good luck and have a GREAT continued day!

Sincerly,

sorry guys for the delayed update, i've had some personal issues for past few days. Anyway im back.

Completed work:
1. Changed the homepage completely, now it looks much more userfriendly and shows all the categories properly.

2. Wrote 1 articles only today since the homepage restructuring took long... (wordpress can be a pain sometimes)

Tommorow:
gonna try catch up on the days i missed by writing articles all day lets see how many i can get done.

btw if ppl here are following me then i wouldnt mind support thnx guys

@m0n3y_
thnx for the advice mate, ill make sure to mix it up also gonna add some no follow links too.

I love how xfactor has completely gone opposite to to junk he was peddling before!

OP, don't take all Xfactors words for granted..

are u suggesting that his idea doesn't work?

but ur right, im not putting in the effort just cause he claims to make money lol actually ive had sites with super crap articles and 0-10 backlinks on them that are making enough to pay for hosting and domain costs for me. so i thought that what his saying is quite logic... dont fight google, write quality and do quality seo and u'll be rewarded. besides im quite positive this site will earn me some nice daily income after a few months.

once i have some income then its just a matter of scaling :)

Xfactor is your typical WF know it all. Micro niche wasn't even his idea. It was being bandied around on the forums for years. There were even other WSO's about it. His took off for one reason or another. My guess is the only money he has really made is from the sales of his "methods". I had 500 micro niche sites making me money since before adsense. But it died. It was virtually dead even before xfactor even wrote about it and after the success of his WSO, google pounced and made it the worst way to make adsense money. You still can get lucky. I have 20+ micro niche that make a few dollars a week and google seems to leave them alone, but it is rare. Anyway his new book is probably just info he has gathered from other people and made into his own WSO, just like his other crap.

I setup site with around 40 articles site on completely new domain. I also submited 5 articles to ezinearticles and get my site indexed in a two days. After a week I already have one keyword on googles first page. Ok, it is keyword with with 2000 searches per month and low seo competition, but there is more than 20 other pages are already ranked with google. So, if you ask me... this method works. I have to tell you that I put a lot of work into design and on-page optimization.

Of course this method works. It is the oldest method there is! There is nothing new here!

hey guys, thnx for the confidence boost :p anyway today i wrote 3 articles whole day because they are so freakin long! Im kinda finding it hard to write articles that are 800 words with a ton of REAL research (not rewriting from ezine). I'm not the most hardworking type but this thing is pushing me beyond my limits, just the type of project i need to discipline myself rofl

@cepec
hey grats on ur success, just wondering how long are ur articles on avg?

micro niche is not dead .. lol - maybe you do it wrong, not only one keyword with 1-2 articles per website ... 6-10 keywords with 6-10x400words articles and link building .. there you go
