I’m facing an issue where my Apple Mail is not receiving emails, even though my internet connection is working fine. I can send emails without any problem, but new messages are not appearing in my inbox. I’ve already checked my account settings and refreshed the app, but nothing seems to work. How can I fix Apple Mail not receiving emails and restore normal email delivery?

Syncing method might be causing the issue? Have you checked if your your email account is currently set up using POP or IMAP? IMAP keeps emails on the server and syncs across devices.

It might be a sync configuration issue. Check whether your account is using POP or IMAP IMAP keeps everything synced on the server across devices, while POP usually stores emails locally on one device.

Sometimes this issue is related to Apple Mail sync settings.

You can try checking whether the account is using IMAP or POP. IMAP usually works better if you access email from multiple devices.

Also check if background app refresh is enabled for Apple Mail and make sure the mailbox is not set to fetch manually.

Another thing worth checking is the server port settings and SSL configuration.

Apple Mail randomly not receiving emails can be surprisingly frustrating. I’ve run into this before, and it ended up being something simple like a stuck inbox sync or an issue with the mail server settings. Checking account status, refreshing the mailbox, and confirming IMAP/SMTP details usually helps. Sometimes just removing and re-adding the account fixes it quickly.
