I had 3 strikes, and I guess i'm out.
The first one was legit. One of my apps used the term "instagram". Okay, i can handle that. It was a few months back.
The other day I decided I was going to try and reskin a game for admob points. Uploaded it the first time and it was removed and i got a strike for impersonation. I requested to have it revoked and was told it was because my graphics matched the real game that was already on the play store. So i reworked the graphics and made all of my own. uploaded it the next day and they gave me the same impersonation strike. TOTAL BS. I'm furious because I used all of my own graphics and have the rights to the source code.
This means my account was deactivated.

I of course asked to have my account reinstated and they denied it.
Anyone have any advice? This is extremely frustrating for a developer.

Honestly, if I was you, I'd just recontact them and tell them straight that your game is completely different to the one they are referring to. Just provide pictures to yours and theirs, showing it's not the same. If that doesn't work then you could potentially try a new account but I'm not sure if you can or not. I don't have experience with that.

google are expert in ignoring poeple, just forget that account and start with new one
