My Amazon affiliate "newbie" journey

A quick update:
As I've wrote previously, I have to outsource my website content (due to my lame english).
So I'll work with LuckyCharm007 who has a sales trade here, dedicated to amazon affiliate content. He'll provide me a Product review/tests, I'll start with 5 products as I would like to stick to the idea of a nice table top 5 product for my main page :)

Then I'll see if I need to expand the number of product reviews.

Once you are done with your site building and close to done with content. I highly recommend that you get into building your PBNs.

They will be the main source of your ranking (hopefully) and if you do it right, you will have a ROI.

Good Lucky OP!

I've started to work on it, I already have my first one: DA19/PA26 CF12/TF26 with clean backlinks, but I am a bit stuck to find some content writer, I contacted several people here on the market place, but they all replied that the topic/niche was too though for them.

If you can't find anyone, why not try writing it yourself?

I can't because of my broken english... I asked one of my ghostwriter to do it.
I wanted that done by someone experienced in PBN to maximize my chances, but I am sure that a ghostwriter will do better than me. :)

I am still working on my PBNs.
Do you think that it is a good idea to add a step: site:expireddomain.tld search on google ?

Some tutorials says that it's very important to have the expired domain still indexed in google and some other doesn't say a word about that.

Any advice ?
Thanks !

It's not important to have the domain still indexed in Google.

Btw never buy links here if you want your website to stick for more than a few months.

If there is any expert in PBNs creation, I would have a few questions (language of the previous website, etc.)

Ask away. I studied PBNs extensively for months, only started registering about 2 months ago and I have 20.

Pm me or post here

Since my last update:
- I created my first two PBNs: asked my freelancer to write 3.5k words and posted them on the first one. Still waiting for some content for the second one.
- I added my pillar, about us, how we made our rank ? and FAQ articles on my second amazon affiliate website and I did a products comparison table with tablepress.

In order to avoid long and boring articles I embeded some youtubes video related to the subject.

In preparation: 8x 500words side articles

Next step:
1) PBNs
2) Update my first amazon affiliate website

A quick update:
- First website niche: Received top 5 products comparison article from Luckycharm. I am still waiting for some more content from my freelancer.
- Second website niche: Still waiting for the pillar article / content from my freelancer;
- Third website niche: Pillar article up, most of the content up, still waiting for some more content. Launched it on Sunday.

As of today only the third one is up: 2-5 visitors / day. Yesterday 23 clicks 0 sales, on Wednesday 0 clicks, on Tuesday 7 clicks 0 sales.

Started a IG account for my niche few days ago, already 217 followers.
Around 20-30 clicks per day but up to now, no sale.

Do you have the link on your site in your bio? And you are getting 20-30 visits per day on your site by IG. I am asking because i have Ig page with 8000 followers about my niche. I am not linking to my page yet because i don't have enough articles but I am wondering if visitors from IG can convert in amazon sales?

Not yet, I am waiting for 8-10k followers.
But as of today I still have a follow back around 32%, so it should be not so long to reach those numbers.

Good luck and waiting for updates! I will start a similar site myself also.

It's time for an update, on 25th it will be one month that I started this journey.

Ok, so, what happened during this month ?
I did a keyword analysis for 3 niches and finally started one website (even if I have all the content for the other 2 niches, but I wanted to gain more experience before starting them).
I ranked the website:
- "best + keyword" (plural) -> page #2 position #4,
- "best + keyword" (singular) -> page #3 position #10,
- "best + keyword + 2016" (plural) -> page #1 position #10,
- "best + keyword + 2016" (singular) -> page #2 position #3

So far: 1,100 clicks and... No conversion. Perhaps I missed something somewhere, but I am pretty happy, I fairly didn't know nothing about how to rank a website a month ago...

Ok, What's next ?
I'll keep going, I'll add more content to the website, even if I published around 7k words and covered all the subject about the niche. Perhaps I'll expand it too related products.
The PBN is a bit on hold, I stated one blog on an expired domain, but I had... only... 2 visits on it, so I need to work more on it.
I will wait for the 2 other websites until I understand why my clicks don't convert.

Do you have analytics installed for your site? Maybe your traffic is from a country that the Amazon program does not support.

Also, how "tough" is the competition for these keywords you are ranking?
