My Amazon Affiliate account was closed! How can i do?

My Amazon Affiliate account was closed, I received an email from amazon, said
"You are not in compliance with the Linking Requirements,because your site makes inaccurate, overbroad, deceptive or otherwise misleading claims about Products, the Amazon Site, or our policies, promotions or prices."

I don't know what mistake i made and how can i do the next. Anyone can help would be great. Thanks.

I'd probably start by sending them an email to see if they can give you a specific reason. (An example of the above). Then see if you can clean it up and reapply. It's a shitty situation though because you really are at their mercy.

Is the site relatively new?

If one account gets closed are you able to just open a new one??

Technically, you could - but they review the sites after the first sale and it would likely not be approved then either. You could always get another site approved and use that affiliate ID on the first one. But if they close the account then you'll lose 2 sites. Better off fixing the issues if want it to last longer term.

No, it's been two years, 300 visitors per day. Thanks for your advice, i have send an email to ask which rules i broke.

Did you list prices on the site? If so you have to make sure the price is accurate and hasn't changed. Your first step should be to call them up and be polite and see if they will work with you.

they will only tell you the same reason just like the first email.

Is this a common occurrence? I am starting an amazon affiliate site and don't want to end up with it randomly banned.

You should just email them and see if you make changes to the site will they review your account for reinstatement. If not find the same products on ebay and join their affiliate program and replace your links/ads. Ebay converts just as well if not better imo.

I wouldn't say it's a common experience, at least not in my experience. I haven't seen or heard about random bannings either - in OP's case it was a violation of linking requirements. Best bet is to read the TOS and be familiar with the in's and out's. You can make great money with these sites. (Amazon sites are my main source of income). I'd definitely go for it.

I've never tried the ebay affiliate program, but if you end up not getting that account reinstated I'd give redmoon's suggestion a try.
