I have just finished my MVP of my AI saas tool. The tool makes articles with better writing than chat gpt/claude, optimice for SEO/AEO, gives business advice, and som other features. The AI itself is just based on API. Anyway, buildng the tool is just the start. Marketing is just as hard, if not harder( when you are bootstrap solo and don't have a marketing budeget) I also have a daytime job and family, so I have limited time to be on social.. I have put the tool on the big directorys. My plan from now is to make a press release and find name and contact on relevant journalists. I plan to give update on my journey here

Besides press release, what are your strategies and plans to bring traffic and customers to your AI tool?

Yes, the marketing is the hardest part; since it requires a creative approach, in tech tasks you can formalize all the steps and use the decomposition method.
May I ask you, what LLM did you use? Did you fine-tune it?

I have made some content on How to use the tool. I will also make some SEO posts targeting the solutions I have. Will also make some videos and make SOME content when I have time...

I use open AI. It's not fine tuned, since I use it for many different tasks and scenarios. In general it's a tool to make different kinds of content in a easy and quick way for people that is not "promt experts"...
 
Funny how you also need to sell free access hard.... have submitted the tool. with free use to the largest software directories. Still no new users.. had a few spam mail for people wanting to invest. Easy to spot when they use dear [name] in the beginning:)
 
To get social media marketing expertise form AI nope-never, these AI on this subject are against us humans ! Read my experience from the last two days;
Do you also have this experience of asking gpt or gemini ,copilot AI for expert knowledge on social marketing. If I ask gemini if it is allowed in my twitter page or if I share my post to other twitter accounts with a clear note; “give me your permission to send me your link” to be able to send them a DM message with a link to my landing page.

According to twitter you are allowed to do this up to a limit of 500 dm messages per day, no matter how I ask the question or whether these 500 messages are divided into small portions every two hours, no matter how clear my no spam note (text link) is, for gemini this is all "high risk" and "spam", sounds really against me.

They are probably real enemies against us humans these AI ? Yes, with good prompt getting good content that can AI , but experts knowledge -no, nope,never ever use AI for that! What do you think?
 
My tool does not give "social media marketing expertise". I don't think a LLM will figth humanity. I think image and video tools are more scary since it will soon make impossible know fake news from real mews. But that is another discussion.....

Gemini, Copilot , Chatgpt (all with free version) none of them can create me images, strange, hey can't read context from urls, can't do web research......an dall that crap what is here wrong with me?

The AI tools for generating articles are already very popular, and you can try other types. I am also researching AI tools recently, and I hope we can communicate together on the next journey.
 
Chat gpt have extrem good image generation in the last version. I make for featured image on a topic, infograpics, and it will give me good results all the time. I am waiting for users on my AI tool, but as I wait I work on my other affiliate website to bring inn som cash for marketing of my AI tool...

What does your app do? You could watch Y Combinator content on YouTube, they give really good advice for founders and marketing. Depending on what your app is doing you can just directly contact the people that would be using it, let them try it, get feedback and make changes to your app if needed to make it better. It all depends who your market is

ai tools are in trend and popular , if you manage to get traffic , Even 10-20 subscribers per month will bring good profits
good luck with your journey also give a look to product hunt you can schedule and launch here and it can bring some traffic if you make some noise
