My aged high karma accounts getting suspended

Hey guys,

I used to run 10 Reddit accounts on 5 old IPhones (IPhone 6, IPhone 7 Plus and IPhone 7's)
I think around 6 months ago, everything was fine, I used to put a comment here and there. At most 1 every couple of days. My accounts were all aged and high karma.

Now I've come back after 6 months, whenever I login into one of those accounts, everything is fine but after some time of doing nothing they get suspended (around I'd say 2-4 hours)

I use real simcards with data plans. Anyone has any idea why when I'm signing into these accounts I'm getting suspends? It basically asks me to change the password which I do and the account is fine again but if I got these suspends, meaning something must be detected!

Reddit likely tightened its security checks, so when you log into multiple aged accounts from similar devices or networks, the system flags them as suspicious and triggers suspensions.

Reddit has probably tightened security. Even inactive accounts with old devices can trigger flags if they detect unusual login patterns or multiple accounts on the same IP/device. Changing the password resets it temporarily, but repeated logins from the same setup might keep triggering suspensions.

Any suggestions about changes I can make to the setup to avoid this? Because you're right, one of the accounts I changed the password for got suspended again some time later requiring to change password yet again.

Could be Reddit tightening detection methods over the past months. Even aged accounts can get flagged if login patterns, device fingerprints, or IP ranges look suspicious. Have you tried warming them up slowly again instead of logging in all at once?

No I haven't tried warming them up again, because as I just logged into 2 accounts on my first day back and a couple hours later I got emails asking for a password reset. I didn't do any action at all - no comments, no upvotes/downvotes, just browsed a couple threads.
Any resources here for understanding login patterns, device fingerprints?
 
I had same issue and solved it by rotating new sims each login.

That could mean that my Simcard’s IP is the problem! Do you guys have any suggestions for proxies I can use?

The suspension followed by a password reset request is a security lockout, not a punitive suspension. Reddit does this to:

Prevent unauthorized access (even if it's you).
Reset suspicious connections.
Limit potential abuse linked to account networks.
